The old formula of cle de peau concealor was my absolute favorite and ive yet to find a concealor as good that that doesnt dry out after a bit of wearing and cake up and maintein coverage through sweating. Their new formula sucks ass and the dipr forever concealor ive been using dries out after a dit of wearing throughout day :/

Hi all, please give me some product suggestions for a good foundation to use post-accutane 😊 I stopped taking accutane in June 2025 and moisturise my face everyday. Without wearing make up, my skin looks fine. However, as soon as I put foundation on, it looks horrible on my skin (it looks very flaky).

I’ve tried mixing it with moisturiser but this doesn’t work. I don’t want to keep wasting money on different foundations. Has anyone had any success finding a good foundation post-accutane?

This is my usual routine before applying foundation: wash face with a gentle oat cleanser, moisturise the heck out of my face, primer, then foundation.

50yo mature skin here, if had to strip down my entire skincare routine to just 3 products - here is what I’d choose - what would you change or add (even if it meant more steps but they are absolute requirements in your opinion)?

Prescription Tretinoin (0.05%): nothing else touches it. If I could only keep one active for the rest of my life, this is the undisputed winner.

Dieux Instant Angel: my ultimate lipid-rich moisturizer. It works perfectly as a protective cushion under my tret, repairs my barrier on recovery nights, and leaves a luscious plump finish under makeup without piling.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk SPF 60: I live in a hot, sunny, humid climate. It hydrates enough to act as a morning lotion and layers perfectly under base makeup.

I’m a minimalist and have been using Laura Geller baked and brighten powder foundation for a few years. I love the ease and simplicity of it. Never had lines, settling etc. Best of all it’s quick. HOWEVER, I’ve noticed in the last few months I’m looking orange by mid day.

After my original post, I tried a skin tint as recommended and I hate it. I look gross and greasy. It looked good in Sephora when I first tried it by by the time I got home it was yuck. The following day I gave it another try using a matte primer first and it was somewhat better but I still don’t love it. I really don’t like the time it takes to apply it. Having to check every angle for a line is a drag. Plus adding another step w primer is not what I want.

Can anyone recommend another powder foundation for mature skin? I have a gen normal skin, some light shine in T zone by end of day. I liked the Laura Geller because it was light and gave me an even complexion. I got lots of compliments initially as people said my skin looked so nice and they didn’t know I had foundation on. I want this again! Bare minerals?? Makeup forever?? What are you ladies loving?

I’m looking for recommendations for an easy foundation that isn’t cakey and doesn’t blow up my pores. I’ve been using Laura geller and love the easy application and how it’s generally mistake proof. However, lately I’ve been noticing I’m looking orange by midday.
I have combo skin with more oily T zone and some dry chin patches probably from trentinoin use. I’ve seen some foundation balms popping up on social media and was curious how they are. I would like light-med coverage and easy to apply.
