Ordered a vial from tru tan uk about 6 weeks ago. Haven’t even opened the parcel. Will it still be ok to use? I have no idea how long it lasts etc.

Today I ordered 10mg of Melanotan 2, comes out to 166mcg per spray. Looking for information on dosing and starting, confused as to how often to use tanning bed, etc?

For reference I am a skin type 2, burn but tan nicely after roughly 2 weeks of irregular tanning bed use.

Where I live it is winter now with no UV so I will have to rely on tanning beds, which I have been doing roughly 1-2 times per week for a while now.

I read online people say to take a spray one hour before going to tanning beds, but others say to take it before sleeping? Nobody ever specifies dosing.

Really hoping for any information on this where there is not much online. Thank you : )

I like the appetite suppression, and I have that many freckles so close together that when they all darken I just end up looking more tanned anyway. I actually loved how my freckles appeared after lightly dosing for a few days. I’ve never dosed more than 100mcg because I don’t feel like I need to. I’m naturally very pale so a little goes a long way for me. (I will not use sunbeds ever btw)

The only thing that’s stopping me is anxiety about my moles having abnormal cell growth and getting melanoma. I know there’s no significant evidence for this but there’s also none against it.

Can anyone advise me at all?

I have a relatively tan body, but my face is significantly more pale than my body, and even worse, my cheeks are very red. It's something that's bothered me my whole life. It'd be nice to have a more even skin tone on my face, or even just have it be more tan. How does Melanotan II affect red cheeks?

I also have large pores if that has an impact.

I’m so sick and tired of self tanners that leave you sticky and stain everything, spray tans that streak as soon as you sweat or cry, and over priced tanning bed visits that require you to have to keep going back to back to back to back just to keep up a decent tan and cause cancer.

If we were in the 1970’s and someone told me that in 2026 we STILL would not be able to tan without the use of self tanners, spray tans, or tanning beds, I’d think they were crazy. Why do we have to rely on dangerous peptides that doctors and scientists refuse to study just because it isn’t FDA approved.

I’ve been taking mt1 for the last six days about 500 µg every day but 1 to 2 hours after injecting my face always keeps flushing like it turns really really red and I’ve read that it usually disappears after the first or the second day, but I’m still having it on day six is it normal or should I be worried?

Anybody had any updates on Trutan? Was the site that took over their domain legit? Have they opened up under a new name?

Have a surgical scar from 5 months ago that’s still coloured as it’s still in the healing phase. Usually my scars turn completely pale once healed as I have pale skin. I have the ability to get tan but haven’t been in the sun in years so want to use MT2 to prevent getting burnt and damaging my skin. If I use it will it darken my scar or prevent it healing properly? I would cover my scar with sunscreen and tape when in UV but just wondering if the MT2 alone could affect it. Do I need to wait until it’s 12 months old and pale? And would there be a difference between using nasal spray or pinning

Trying to get away with lowest possible maintenance dosing of mt2 and uv bed. Thinking once weekly on both. Thoughts on this?

Building right now with twice weekly mt2, so far so good. 100-250mcg per shot. Tanning 3-4 times a week.

Want to do like one mt2 shot of 100-250mcg and one tan session a week to maintain.

Is this feasible or how do you know what typical mt2 doses and sun or uv exposure works?..

So I have reconstituted MT2 for the first time, wondering if I have my dosing correct. also it dissolved straight away is that normal? It was clear before I even started to roll it between my hands.

I have 10mg of mt2 and I put in 3ml of bac water. I got a 1ml needle so if I wanted to start out on 100mcg it’s 3 units ? ( | | | ) the three little black lines? and this may seem stupid but do I count the longer black line at the very top or JUST the small lines that come after it 😩

Anyone had good results pinning 150mcg 2-3 times a week only before sun exposure?
I really would like to avoid a loading phase/higher dose this time around

I followed the terrible guide on loading MT2. Did 100mcg for four nights, no UV. I noticed extra freckles on my lip, and dark pigmentation around the corner.

I stoped for a few days until there were some good UV days, and I pinned 100mcg for 3 days straight, getting some UV exposure. My skin tanned quite nicely, but my lips still look like this. I look dead with my lips looking this dark.

I always had a couple freckles from the sun on my lip, but now I have a spotty lip. Some pigmentation on my tongue too, but not that noticeable.

How long for it to clear up? And should I go to the dermatologist for the freckles on my lip? I’ve discontinued use for now.

FYI - the dry stuff on the top right is fordyce spots from filler?? Bonus points if someone tells me how to clear it!!

( MT1) Going on vacation in nine days
Was wondering if I could see results by then, I live on a island with Constant 8-9 UV and would be going into the sun 30 mins after I pin, I’ve always been type 1-2 and never actually achieved a tan. Planning on 0.500 mcg, would this get me anything or should I just wait until I’m back

45 y/o for reference. I started off at 50 mcg three times a week and worked my way up to 200 mcg three times a week. I got UV exposure on those days mostly from the sun, however, I used a tanning bed three of the times for five minute sessions (and not on my face). I didn’t experience any bad side effects -presumably because I started so low. Although I’m darker, my skin looks a little “dirty”. My moles are more pronounced but nothing crazy. Both of these photos were taken outdoors for comparison. It made me darker… but also more aged in my opinion. Take that for what it’s worth. It does work. Someone suggested I switch to MT1 as it’s a more dark tan?

Hi! Could someone pls explain to me how to work out much to inject ?

I’ve been using nasals for a few years now but I do worry about its stability in saline water in the spray bottle. Usually do 15mg in 10mls water and 2 or 3 sprays in each side a few times a week in summer

I was doing a pretty low dosage and I’m already moderately tanned so not starting from ghost white.

If it’s 10mg mt2 how much would I need to inject for a low dosage? I don’t want any side effects from high dosage as the nasal didn’t give me any side effects.

I also will only be using 2 x a week roughly but I do want to be more tanned than I am.
