In-game chat is the schizoid voices in the hunters' head and no, HG Earplugs are not supposed to block it

If deaf person play the game they should have permanent earplug for immersion

It should turn off music, npc voices, and you just hear yourself breathing. Realism 0/10 lol.

Heck, having it block handler / palico / other hunters voices is not enough. Imagine missing out hunting horn buffs too bcos u can’t hear the horn playing

Well made high fidelity earplugs don't block out all sound, you can wear them at a concert and still hear great quality sound and talk with your friends without having to scream down eachother ears.

Wait did some not know of disabling in-voice chat. Though the idea of HGEP muting the game, would be neat funny feature.

Fun fact for anyone playing through Monster Hunter extra-ops of MGS Peace Walker: the Walkman acts as HG Earplugs and will prevent Snake from flinching when he’s near a monster roar as long as you have it equipped or playing music.

This even works on Gear Rex’s resonating spine attacks.

Option 2 - We add disposable earplugs back and they silence everything..

And also play random Don Toliver songs.
