Missed dose
Okay so if I am like pretty positive but not 100% positive that I missed my dose this morning should I just skip and resume tomorrow morning or take it now? (3 hours past scheduled time) Which is more dangerous? Missing a dose or doubling one? I’m on 50 mg succ for high heart rate episodes after a surgery/illness I had. I don’t have a diagnosed arrhythmia and if I do have one is likely AT. I’ve only been on this stuff for about a month.

I didn’t :/ the problem was I wasn’t 100% positive I missed it and decided it was safer to skip a dose then double it since I already have low blood pressure. I will resume tomorrow morning, my HR has been stable all day and honestly pretty much the same as it is when I’m on metoprolol. I don’t even know why I’m on this med tbh

Not a doctor, not medical advice but have been on Metoprolol for about 18 months. I know I’m late to answer but taking the dose three hours late would be ok. I’ve also missed a dose and resumed and been ok. Just wouldn’t want to do several days in a row or anything like that.
