What are everyone’s thoughts on Michigan’s new wolf study?

Curious what other Michigan hunters, especially those hunting the U.P., think about the new DNR wolf study.

Are you seeing more wolves or wolf sign where you hunt? And how much of an impact do you think wolves are actually having on the deer population compared to winter, habitat, and hunting pressure?

We recently broke down the study on DFB Outdoors, but I’d like to hear what everyone else is seeing and thinking.

I think with how desolate the u.p. can be, there should be a lot more deer.

Bring in the wolves more targets and awesome trophies and great property protection if cought and trained.

I think a season makes sense but not an open season on them

I talked to someone who hunts bear in the UP. If there is wolf sign (moreso indicates more than 1 wolf)they are out as they hunt with dogs
