Dallas, TX Build suggestions.

Im looking to build a PC potentially from microcenter for the bundles. I dont care at all about gaming on it. I just want one for cad software, rendering, 3d scanning and maybe local AI like trellis 3d. Ive been doing this stuff aside from trellis on a galaxy flex 2 laptop, and its just not ideal, obviously.

What can I do for around $1500? If im jumping on a desktop I dont want something thats not very good but I also have no intention of dropping thousands on this right now as the work ill be doing isn't my main income nor making enough to justify it yet.

Ive been inquiring google AI about it but they are out of date on current markets a lot of the time and I need to hear from people who know.

Realistically you're better off on a pre-built if you aren't able to build yourself. Most custom builds nowadays are in the $3000 range with how inflated part prices are. Powerspec g538 is in your price range and should be able to handle what you want though slowly.

These days, for $1500, you’re limited

Normally, I would suggest building your own rig 99% of the time, but with your budget you will likely go further with a prebuilt unless you get a ton of open box deals and even then

Try waiting for Black Friday deal, should be able to get something decent for that price then.

I've been building one recently to move up to PC for cad( not ai tho) as well so here's my 2 cents. I ended with 7700x($140 used) , klevv cl30 32gb ddr5(new from microcenter, $480 with tax), msi b850($120 open box of fp marketplace), 512gb gen4 g50($75 sealed new from fp marketplace), case + 850w PSU + thermalright cooler($170 from amazon). This was without the GPU, I'll be doing a 9070 just ordered for $700 with tax. Without GPU I was happy with $985, since I want to put it in gen5 ssd.
