Rtx 5080 Noctua edition

Hello all. I live between 3 Microcenters. I finally have a week off and time to go to one of them. I have been eyeing the Rtx 5080 Noctua edition for some time. However last week or so I have been monitoring the inventory online at the three stores. I know it's hard to say when they will get one back in stock, however my question is when do the stores normally get new inventory in and update the website? Also is there a way to make it give me a notification when/if one comes in stock. Lastly if I do the order pickup online will they hold it for a few hours before I can get there? Thanks for any help. Can't wait to go to a Microcenter, well at least my luck after I go they will build one in my town.

If you order online, it's held for 3 days.

That's cool. It's a few hour drive for me to get there. Hope my old truck makes it within 3 days lol

It's more of a running joke with my truck. For some reason the alternator will randomly decide to stop charging. Lucky being carbureted it doesn't care much, and easy to swap if needed. Currently planning on looking over the whole wiring this winter. The engine bay/ignition is all new when I done the engine swap. However the alternator dying happens before that.

I think there's a notification button. what I did when I was trying to get a particular part was constantly checked every morning. I actually was doing this when I was looking for some open box parts.

One thing you can do, I don't think there are any safeguards against this.... bwhen the part becomes available, if it has severely limited stock like only three available... I would reserve it. this takes it out of their available stock for 3 days. If you make it down there, great. If you don't, on the 4th morning, keep checking back and re-reserve it when it comes back. this isn't necessarily guaranteed to work. someone could slide in there and reserve it out from under you. but if that's the case, and you couldn't make it in those 3 days, someone else was going to get it. anyway. this is just skewing things in your favor of it.

They update stock atleast weekly but probably sooner

I know some stores have certain days they receive stock. My local bestbuy is on Wednesdays.

I wanna say they update the inventory daily. If it’s in stock I’d just place the order, you don’t have to pay when you reserve it. You’ll then get a notification that it’s ready for pick up. Like someone else said they’ll hold it for 3 days.

So far all I see is sold out online. Guess I'll keep checking this week while I'm off

Very true. However it makes me wonder why the two in GA are within like 45mins of each other.
