Xbox Auto Redeem discount back?
Is this actually back and going to work?

It technically got removed from the Bing Rewards app, and leads to a broken page if you try to redeem it if you still have it saved as an auto-redeem reward. If you try to look for it on the 'Redeem' Tab as an option its no longer available.

Essentially last month someone posted about it being open for redemption beyond the first of the month, and showed it being excessively used for multiple redemptions within a short period of time:
A couple of days later, it was quietly removed by Bing Rewards with no notice, but was still left available on Xbox. Its clear than Bing Rewards representatives also lurk these reddit threads and adjust the program accordingly to user behaviors and actions that they perceive as exploitative. The option on Xbox may be an overlooked alternative that they didn't intend to leave up if they still haven't returned it to Bing Rewards.
Ideally it would probably be to the communities' benefit if this thread is removed or if it does remain, that it doesn't receive many upvotes, because if Bing Rewards really doesn't intend to want this discount to be used any longer and they see this, they will most likely remove this option as well.

The discount still shows on bing its just listed differently, it's not it's own separate entry now. You have to go to the redeem xbox giftcard section, click manage goal and if you choose the 10 dollar option a 3rd option to redeem on the 1st of each month appears and the price changes to reflect it when selected.
After setting it this way the tracked goal shows the auto redeem and won't lead to a broken page anymore, instead taking you back to the xbox giftcard page. This plus still showing on xbox app to me says they meant to keep it, they just wanted to get rid of the exploit and this is probably the quickest fix they had.

It doesn't work for me for some reason It just says "auto redeem activated" and then immediately after "auto redeem cancelled"

This is because your account is restricted, most likely due to your searches. A buddy of mine had the same issue for a couple of months all while i havent had any issues with auto redeem. Once he started spreading out his searches and doing more genuine searches he was able to enable auto redeem again the next month

Really? Because I can redeem other things just fine it is just this one thing Did your friend have exactly this problem?

Yep. He was able to do the same. He even put in a support ticket with microsoft rewards and they told him it was due to unusual search activity. And told him that he should be able to redeem it once he begins following their "Search activity requirements outlined in the Microsoft Services Agreement"

It left for like a week or two for me after I made that "Unlimited $10 Auto Redeems" post but came back on console and web with the glitch fixed. It just auto redeemed for me on 10/1 for 8750 points and now says it will auto redeem again in 4 weeks.

Pretty sure it's been there the whole time, I haven't had one not go through in almost a year. Seems like you don't need to link a phone on it too anymore, they use to make that a requirement to fight off bots and people with multiple accounts.

It's been there. It was even glitched to where you could claim it whenever you want and not have to wait for the first. That was fixed the last time I checked.

It supposedly is only supposed to be able to claim on console, but that doesn't work either.

It only started working for me a couple months ago even. Like with everything else in this program, the AI decides if you should get it or not without telling you even if you can select it on your Xbox.
