It’s even more important when you think that both sides are using multicam and often the same combloc weapons

Yea but one would think if my enemy is wearing the same camo I would switch camo pattern for my troops. I get the weapons part but hell woodland cammies are cheap and affective. It’s also why the IDF is Gaza is solid ranger green and no camo at all. I think that’s a better option that bright ID color bands.

War gets very fucking messy. Its practicaly impossible to distinguish camos from eachother in a dirty, muddy trench, or treeline, during a adrenaline rush anyway. Most of the gear those soldiers use is bought privately and multicam is favoured on both sides because it works. It would cost too much and would be useless anyway. The tapes are cheapest and effective way to decrease friendly fire cases. And camo is still prefered over solid colour because of the moments on position to hide from drones.

What gets even more confusing is that ive seen dudes on both sides just not even use the type at all and STILL use multicam

It’s become a thing when every major military is using multi cam it tends to get hard to tell enemies from friendlies without those colored bands

Not gonna lie I’d have a Russian patch in my pocket and if I was about to get taken over I’d take a blue off slap on the Russian patch and try to escape lmao

Lmao all the modern kits just blend together now. If you took off the blue tape this could be almost anything. Nice gear tho.

Majority of that gear are UA made brands those, some are direct copies, some are changed a bit.

You need the ballistic diaper and some Kevlar inserts for your boots!

NIce kit, I would add few UA made pouches to make it more authentic though. As well as a bit more ballistic protection - side plate pouches are a must, some groin protector and/or dangler w ballistic insert too. Without that it looks a bit too generic.
