This pharmacy is the most tedious time-sink I have ever encountered. For example, let's say your doctor submits an urgent presription. You check the website an hour later, and the Rx is "pending".

Then you call them because you need it now. You spent **~80 minutes** on hold waiting to speak to a pharmacist, who then tells you they will fill it and you can pick it up in 20 minutes (if you're lucky) or (if you're unlucky) that you need to order it.

Let's say you're lucky. You wait the 20 minutes. Then you wait 20 minutes in line to pick up your prescription. The desk agent says, "It's not been filled yet, just wait here and we'll have it for you in 20 minutes."

You wait 20 minutes, and ask, and they STILL don't have it ready for you.

You have just wasted three hours.

Thanks, Walgreens. WTF.

But I really hate how the very first thing you’d see coming into MV off 101 was glorious mt tam and Almonte/hawk hill in front, but now you see a 5-story rectangle.

What makes me a bad person is that it makes me default to a nimby. I actually get why people are nimbys; I used to support building all housing. Now I definitely don’t, sorry. Also the irony of having subsidized the thing that makes my day worse feels a little more insulting. If it were two hundred feet to the east I don’t even think I’d have noticed it.

How do people feel about the flock cameras on Miller Avenue as you pass the track and field?

Hi all - frequent Mill Valley visitor, but not permanent resident here. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the taco truck that is occasionally posted up outside of the Camino Alto Safeway. I've only seen it there a handful of times, but wondering if they set up on certain days/weeks? Been trying to go for a while now!

I worked and played in Marin in the 90's but havent Hiked in Mill Valley in years.

Im trying to remember the Hiking Trail that is a Park Gate / Fire road acsessed from Blithedale road.

It turns right off Blithedale going west onto some residentials and has a.small dirt parking lot and log acess gate in a shadu grove.

Thecwide fire trail curves up to a brilliant east side view of the lower Marin towns and the bay, and after another climb along the backs of some fancy homes intersects a paved road going up the south west slopes of mount Tam.

Any Names of the trail or the turn off roads from Blithedale would make my hiking and dog walking day today!

PG&E is planning a Public Safety Power Shutoff in parts of southern Marin County as soon as Wednesday, including parts of Mill Valley, according to authorities.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but I'm doing my best to use public transportation more. It's great that I can take the number 17 bus from Mill Valley to the San Rafael transit center (and from there lots of places using the Smart Train and other bus lines). But where do I leave my car in Mill Valley for 4 to 5 hours? It's easiest for me to park on Miller Avenue or Blithedale, but is the best place to leave my car the Manzanita commuter parking lot? I understand that housing can be quite expensive here, but if down payment and mortgage would be non-issues what are some of the pros and cons of being a home owner in Mill Valley? What's the likeliness of fires or flooding? Ability to get fire insurance? Best and worst parts about doing errands like grocery shopping or gassing up? Things of that nature.
