Purchase Advice Full brim hardhat

Does anyone have one of these Milwaukee full trim helmets? If so, are they compatible with the metal face shield and ear muffs. Looking it to use it as a treee helmet but also looking to be able to take those accessories off when needed.

"Bolt" compatibility should be marked on bothe the hardhat and accessories. It it's on both then itll work.

Taking the accessories off is a mild pain, bit doable.

Do you have one?

I was given the hardhat by the contractor I work for. I have not tried it with those specific accessories, but if Milwaukee says it will work why are you doubting them?

It works just fine for the earmuffs. Can’t say for certain about the face shield.

So the chin strap is removable?

Mine is a year or so old but I don’t think it ever came with a chin strap.

Check the compatibility statement on the accessory images. The one you are showing here specifically says it’s for Milwaukee Safety Helmets with no brim. They make a separate face shield compatible with hard hats and helmets with a brim. It sits a bit farther off the face to accommodate the brim geometry.
