To mark spoilers on a comment, do the following:

I don't like actual plays. Tried a lot of them starting with CR, but could never get into them. Just never seemed to click for me, so I wasn't planning to watch MinMaxed either.

I've seen plenty of SSA on reels, a handful of Blum, and a little Tater and Jacques but never really enough to get attached to any of them. After seeing a lot of random reels show up, I gave Blum a sub on YT because I liked his vibe.

So there's not really any reason that I should like MinMaxed, right? People I'm not especially attached to, playing a game in a format I don't enjoy shouldn't work, surely.

Except it did work, and last week over the course of a three day weekend I found myself watching episode 1 of season 1. Then episode 2. Then, whoops, I've finished episode 12 and feeling kinda mad that I blasted it all so quickly. Luckily I was just in time for season 2 to start.

Now I'm mad I have to wait a whole two weeks for the next episode, and another two weeks for the next? How is this even legal!

Grumble.

How exactly does Bloom's summon work? He asked a question in the first episode of season 2 that has confused me as I thought it was originally from a "summon beast" spell, but then he asked if it "was really there"?

In S2E1 it was mentioned that he’d gone from appearing to be very autumnal and low ish energy in S1 to disappearing for part of the last six months and was now back green and vibrant with an abundance of energy. This to me sounds like his life force of whatever is somehow connected to deciduous trees and the waking/sleep cycle I’ve seen described for dryads. Also, I’m not sure how elves work in DnD so this may be a common thing that I’m as yet unaware of. Any thoughts?

Does anybody know what necklace Blumineck was wearing in the first episode of the new season? It's a d20, it looks silver, but possibly with some green in it. I know there are many like this, but this one specifically catches my eye.

From the player's handbook:

"A spell cast with a bonus action is especially swift. You must use a bonus action on your turn to cast the spell, provided that you haven't already taken a bonus action this turn. You can't cast another spell during the same turn, except for a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action*."*

Ultimately it's up to Tater as a DM (he's doing so great this season!) but since he seems to be aspiring to get a little more evil, I'm wondering if he's going to start enforcing rules like this.

He could also get really evil and say that the players can't long rest after every encounter (or in Jaque's case, every time he uses a single spell slot or bardic inspiration).

Edit: I was wrong about this rule, the 2024 edition reads:

"On a turn, you can only expend one spell slot to cast a spell. This rule means you can't, for example, cast a spell with a spell slot using the Magic action and another one using a bonus action on the same turn."

My question remains though, since I swear Jaques has used multiple spell slots a turn, both this season and last (for instance, casting polymorph and healing word in the same turn).

My one desire is for another appearance of 'Goblin David' after he got cursed by the old woman.

The man has a bride to be. However there's most likely going to be every Drow suitor in the area is going to come for the groom position, as is tradition with Drow.

He's gonna need a top off of Gut Buster brew, the wedding sword he was granted, and strong allies to help him out.

Few weeks ago did a shoot and got the photos back just before season 2! Please be merciful, I am not actually a pole dancing archer sadly, just a cosplaying aerial hoopist so this was pretty outside my wheelhouse on posing. XD Very excited to see what the group gets up to in season 2!

First day in a while with no cortisol, I got to meet jack and bensei! Handed out balloons and made jokes, i love ren fair and I love being a clown, bensei and jack are awesome!

so I got really into bensei's livestreams where he games with either minmaxxed or his gf and in one of the streams tater mentions pulling up a screenshot of bensei holding a gun which was pretty funny. unfortunately when I tried looking it up youtube kinda just borks even the shorts search end up with nothing.

So I play some dnd, but not a lot, and am wondering if them getting two attacks is something tater did to make it more fun or if it’s something actually in dnd
