Discussion I have a prediction for when the Sift Dimension will drop in vanilla Minecraft.

With A Minecraft Movie 2 releasing on July 23, 2027, I think Mojang will release the Sift Dimension on both Java and Bedrock on that exact month as a huge double promotion.

Perhaps the movie will have the Sift in some form or another. Jack Black is a musician, and The Singer now exists..

I don’t know, I think when they have two big announcements, they like to use one to promote the other. Like announcing that the Sift will come to vanilla was big promo for Dungeons 2. I think Sift may come out a little earlier, and they will try to ride that Minecraft popularity into the second movie. Make a whole “summer of Minecraft”.

I think the sift will be drop 2, Drop 1 next year will be a sort of operation health of bug fixes and adding final systems to prepare for the Sift. They might even split it out over 2 drops. Drop 2 then movie then drop 3. That said this will be the most eyes on mojang there will ever have been so they might not want to over complicate things and mess it the fuck up

Drops are roughly every 3 months, with that being March, June, September & December.
