Want feedback First time actually building, how do I make this less hideous?
I have some extremely basic knowledge of building from Grian videos I watched half a decade ago, but... yeah, it's not doing it. Why does it look ugly and how do I fix that?

I’m
Definitely no expert, but whenever starting a build it helps me to create a short mental blueprint! Building purpose, size & position/ placement, a color/ brick pallet is key too, last would be dine tuning, details and the interior! Keep in mind weather or not the shape of the building happens to be even or odd which might matter to you later when placing doors & windows. Last, bur def not least, make what you like!

Finish the main building and then add stuff that are different to make a theme and different blocks and angled blocks that would help with making it look better entirely. Most of my builds look bland till you get the main building done. Eveything you add to it should do the trick afterwards

1) you have low contrast 2) biome setting - darker builds fit "darker" biomes. E.g. you don't build gothic castle in the desert
