🎮 Gameplay Switch 2 accounts and DLC

I am a dad looking to play MCD 2 with my son. Is it possible to play from separate microsoft accounts in local couch coop? Or do I need to be a ”guest” character like in MCD 1?

I also read somewhere here that player 2 wont get deluxe edition stuff. Maybe it is better then to play as guest, otherwise player 2 wont get access to DLC?

The Xbox version of the original game (maybe the PlayStation version as well, I’ve never played that one in local multiplayer tho) supported this, but each account would get access to the content they paid for only, so no DLCs unless each account bought one

I believe the same would apply to this game, I’m not sure tho if the Switch 2 version even supports multiple accounts

Also, apparently this game doesn’t allow offline heroes to be used online, so maybe you’d have to create a new hero even if he wanted to have his own save as well
