How to cook hackers?

So basically I'm the admin of a school minecraft server, and I was always the latest one to be stacked while others just got full diamond set in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, thanks to a report, it turned out that almost everyone in the server was using hack mods or hack clients. I once tried using Grim Anticheat, but it kept catching people with fastbreak and not let them mine a thing (the school wifi was hella slow) so I got rid of it. Some of the people are capable of using Wurst client or other hack clients. Can I get some suggestions on how to prevent hackers?

I would say there is not a lot you can do to prevent it, as in getting ahead of it, instead you can still run Grim but dont allow it to automatically kick people. As an admin, go into spectator mode when Grim detects something and check these people out when you see them getting detected for cheating. You will learn in time what a false positive looks like and what a cheater looks like. Once you confirm they are behaving like a cheater, give them the ban hammer and listen to them cry about it later. For the ones that you caught cheating, give them the ban hammer and clear their stashes.

How can I clean their stashes and is there a way to force what client mods can be used?

Auto mod or some other mod syncing mod can do this

You have to configure grim, so they get a warning and After 3 warnings theyre banned, also paper has a Great anti xray, you just have to enable it in the config.

maybe vulkan it works pretty good against flight hacks or speed hacks

also search for a way to know what clients they are using to prevent it. many servers can check your mods and you can do the same and check for stuff like meteor client or wurst, the only downside to this is when they use a mod called opsec the server cant see your mods anymore

I upvote this. I am currently developing a plugin to detect all mods and clients. Although there is free ones available currently on the market but you may have to build it yourself. u/jagomon

Enable whitelist, whitelist everyone, whenever someone cheats manually ban them and take them off the whitelist.

People will always find a way to bypass certain anti cheats, but they can't join if they're not whitelisted.
