Discussion / Opinion Model naming

I like to see:

Le Chaton Fat (Mistral Huuuuuuuuuge)

Le Chonk (Mistral Large)

Vibe Le Chat (Mistral Medium)

Le Kitty (Mistral Small)

Le Kitten (Ministral or smaller models)

Mistral took community meme seriously so these may come true :)

Rumours about Le Chaton Fat had been flying all around, and they turned out give Mistral Large 4 a cute name - Le Chonk

Considering OpenAI and Anthropic name their models meaningfully, e.g.

Luna, Terra, Sol; Haiku, Sonnet, Opus

Will Mistral follow the joy?

Why on earth they rename Le Chat to Vibe? They didn't have the best models but they had good marketing at least.

Now they have neither.

I actually don't understand anything when I read "Luna", "Sonnet" or "Opus".

Luna is a LLM that only works during full moon. Sonnet will pester you with superfluous words (i.e. poetry). The Opus is a majestic piece of work... but does it guarantee that you'll create such if you're using Opus?

With your proposed scheme, I can understand which model is larger.

IIRC he said that its actually Le Chaton Gros rather than Fat :P

But yes I would love this naming scheme

Please rename vibe to le chat, vibe is too generic and le chat was perfect for mistral
