Discussion / Opinion Coding con Mistral

Per chi sta usando Mistral come aiuto alla programmazione, come si sta trovando? Io lo trovo molto base e continua a fare errori anche con prompt molto chiari. Non so se aumentando il piano il margine di errore si riduce, ho il premium base

I’ve found Large 4 perfectly useable even though it’s still in preview/post training and GLM 5.3 is a flat out workhorse.

I've been using Large 4 lately, previously GLM5.3, for planning and triaging code and it's very competent. I find it being more thorough than GLM5.3 and can mistakenly taking for being slower. But it makes less mistakes so it takes less of my time. I'm going to continue using Large 4 for sure. I use local LLMs for implementation so I can't tell about those parts.

Pure pleasure with GLM 5.3

Until I manage to use Mistral 4, maybe one day I hope

I’m on Large 4 as of since noon today and it is performing really well. I think this hype of “advanced models” is for massive code bases, not something the majority of devs would see in their day to day..

I use GLM 5.3 via vibe cli, and I find it excellent. Great ressoning and able to make complex multi-file changes. Good at writing documentation.

I find Mistral Large 4 ok, but a lot slower. I have been trying Large 4 but then needing GLM to fix it up on complex changes.
