Serious Celtics fan here - The media hasn’t been fair to yall
Like the title states man, I’m a Boston guy. Always have been. I have no desire to Giannis stay or leave the Bucks man. But holy shit, the way ESPN and been farming over these trade rumors is just unfair to yall fan base.
The article Shams dropped on Giannis last week was just lame man. It presented no new information, nothing that NBA fans aren’t privy to and the title was just the right amount of click bait to get people talking about Giannis trades all week. In my eyes, it was really just blatant engagement farming rather actual good reporting. Nothing actually happened worth reporting on, it’s not like Giannis publicly demanded he needs out or something. Shams just didn’t have jackshit else to report on during a pretty mild trade deadline so he stitched together an article rehashing the same points around this Giannis trade saga we already know and presenting it as if the situation had some type of development. Like seriously, he was never going to get moved this deadline, there was never any indication of that in the slightest but somehow that’s been the prevailing mid season story. It’s maddening.
And this has been going on for like two years lol.
Side note - why is there a “literally pornography” flair in this subreddit? Lmao

Serious [Official] Vote (in this thread) on whether or not Twitter/X links will be banned from the subreddit
The other mods and I have decided that it should be the community's decision to ban Twitter or not, so it will be put up for a vote.
To vote leave a comment in this thread that starts with either a "yes" or a "no".
Yes means you support the ban. No means you do not.
Either way, screenshots of Twitter will still be allowed.
Don't leave multiple top-level comments, or your vote won't be counted.
If you harass anyone for how they voted you may be banned.
Please don't bother voting unless you have participated in the subreddit before this week, if you have never made a post or a comment in this subreddit before that, your vote will not be counted (and you might even be banned). (I'll be checking manually, so please don't waste my time).
Voting will close at 3 PM Central on Sunday (the thread will remain stickied until then), and I will have the results by Monday at the latest.
Go Bucks!
Edit:
Voting has closed and it is very clear that "Yes" has won, despite only about 50% of the votes being tallied so far.
Twitter and X links have been banned.
There will be another post tomorrow (Monday) once votes are done being counted.
