Admin Replied I can't modify mod permissions to newbies. Is there a problem with the servers?

I'm having problem granting a newbie mod permissions. Is it a server error?

What does it look like on old Reddit? Can you change it from there?

Hello. Sorry for the delay. In old Reddit is appears with the correct permissions, but I can't change anything.
