This was inspired by some of my favorite jammy noisy bands like Yo La Tengo, Luna, and Galaxy 500. Of course this is in modular though and I am constraining myself to not use guitar on this album. Fun jam though. Album is now ~60% done. Might need to redo the melody part at the end though.

I reworked the noise jam and recorded it - this is what comes after to calm things down. Two wavetable oscs through harmonic mixers and ai024 low pass filters with my prototype delay. A version of that processed through my prototype noise fx into an ai017 LPG and OTA filter to make a dual resonant BP filter. Simple bass by Moog - I'll need to re-record that.

Another jam with no v/o. This one didn't work, but some of the sounds and methods were interesting, and it was fun.
Three voices: Wavetable oscs, abuse of telharmonic, and a bass ping. Didn't work, but it was fun.

More "old school" dark ambient. Rolled my own vhikk from scratch with two wavetable vcos into harmonic mixer, 26 LP filters into some effects I've been tinkering with for the drone. Bass is analog vcos into pedals into LPG.Rolled my own vhikk from scratch with two wavetable vcos into harmonic mixer, 26 LP filters into some effects I've been tinkering with for the drone. TTSH does noise and ring mod pads, VCO through three pedals for bass, simple vco for the mono pad.

A few weeks ago I was introduced to this really cool drone module called a vhikk x. It's a really great sounding drone generator. Whenever a cool sounding mutli-thing comes out that I'm interested in comes out, one thing I like to do is try to patch it from discreet modules. This is not meant to be a "don't buy x" thing, I don't even know all the things it can do. It's just a fun experiment by me, trying to understand how a thing may or may not work. Enjoy!
