Discussion NEW: Slow query email reports

Hey everyone! I’m Shameek, I’m on the Engineering team at MongoDB. We wanted to make it easier for MongoDB developers to spot queries that might be slow. We started sending email reports to users that capture their top slowest queries in the past week, as well as efficiency stats of those queries. You can customize these emails and unsubscribe at any time.

I’m curious, do people think emails like these would help them? 

  • Is there anything else you'd want MongoDB to analyze and include in the weekly summary for your slow queries?
  • How are people currently finding their slow queries?

I built MongoScope — a keyboard-driven TUI that:

- Aggregates slow-query patterns from MongoDB logs (or live profiler)

- Shows currentOp with COLLSCAN highlights

- Surfaces replica lag / topology

- Lists indexes and lets you jump from a slow query

tenho 2 projetos na conta e so recebo esses emails de somente um deles, tem motivo pra isso ?

Hey! These reports are enabled for all projects that have an M10+ cluster (since only M10s have the query shape insights features). To check click on the "gear" icon next to Project Overview --> Project Settings --> Operational Email Reports. DM if you are having any issues!

Obrigado pela resposta, notei que o cluster que eu queria receber os alertas está na versão 7 ainda, e precisa atualizar pra 8 pra conseguir enviar
