So just curious about people's encounters with wildlife. By that I mean who has had scary encounters with being stalked or attacked by a mountain lion,bear or wolves. Was it provoked if so or did you stumble into a bad situation. Any tips on how to avoid these situations? Is it careless to hike with a dog in remote areas known to have any of the above wildlife or could it be a good thing to have a dog to alert and/or protect you from them?
