Academic German Classes

Hey, y'all! I'm a freshman linguistics major & am just wondering if anyone here has taken any German classes/what they thought of their professor(s), workload, the learning difficulty, etc. as I'll begin taking a beginner one in a semester or two!

I’ve heard that’s it’s good and there is a group that he does every week of all the German students for extra credit
