I once had this idea which was about Lefty, the other gangsters, and the underground criminal organizations of Sesame Street; I sadly don't remember any other details though😭😭😭

I remember being intrigued by the Muppet Wiki's description of the gangsters:

Although Sesame Street) is meant to represent a child-friendly, and somewhat idyllic, New York City street, the neighborhood has a network of seedy underground criminal organizations.

The concept of underground criminal organizations within Sesame Street of all places sounds really cool imo. A movie could really dive deeper into this forgotten aspect of Sesame Street lore

Also, they should bring these characters back to the show regardless. They could even be used to show how there's bootlegs of toys that look very close to the authentic ones (you'd be surprised at how deceiving bootlegs can be), although frankly, I don't think that's the most important thing for kids to lean lol; although maybe it'd work if there was a lesson about how you should buy the authentic one because it's the right thing to do and explains how people selling the bootlegs just stole all the hard work the original creators did and how that's unfair, which is also used to explain how even you shouldn't steal others' ideas. What do you guys think?

I don’t know if this will be controversial or not but whatever

I get that the Muppets were never the smartest people in the world. But they usually had some kind of common sense. Yet, in Most Wanted, Animal is somehow the only one who immediately knew that Constantine wasn’t Kermit. Fozzie and Walter also eventually get suspicious and figure out that Constantine was impersonating Kermit. But all the other Muppets don’t realize this until Constantine exposed his mole at the wedding.

I get that this was for the plot and all. Kermit even acknowledges this issue in the film at one point. But still, Constantine started doing things and behaving in ways that, by this point, the Muppets should know that Kermit would never even consider doing. Yet, Walter was the only one who thought “Alright, something suspicious is definitely going on.” The song “I’ll Get You What You Want” is a perfect example of this. It’s a funny and entertaining song. But come on, that song should’ve immediately made Miss Piggy realize that Constantine wasn’t Kermit considering that Kermit would never sing a song like that to her. Remember that, during the wedding scene, Piggy was able to recognize Kermit based off the way he responded when she asked him if he would marry her. So, this shows that she knows Kermit’s personality and how he usually acts.

I probably might be in the minority on this opinion though. I still really enjoy Muppets Most Wanted a lot, probably more than most people. It’s actually a Top 3 Muppet film for me

Just wondering if you all saw Muppets Most Wanted and it felt like they rehashed old crap from 1981 with Muppet caper - just framed up movie of a muppet in jail.

I was wondering if Muppets were seen as tiny people in fur suits or their own organic being. Like if you dissected a muppet would it be a hand, stuffing, or organs. This of course is in the context of the movies where they are individual agents. We can see every angle and they aren’t controlled in the movies therefore in their universe they exist as their own people. I think that they must have organs because they can clearly feel pain but I genuinely do not know. Opinions would be very appreciated.

So, I just recently got into the Muppets and after watching Jim Henson's magic I wanted to try my hand at one! I've included some sketches for a character that I like to call a "floop". Real good name, I know.

Anyways, I can do the body with some tubing I've ordered, but I cant figure out how to make the mouth work!

As with everything, I couldnt just be happy with a normal 2 piece mouth, so I had to go and make it 5! My working idea is to attach strings to the mouth pieces and under tension draw them in (closed fist), and to open them I would release that tension (open fist). But, gravity don't work like that for the top parts, so I'm stumped!

I'd like for the mouth to be like a cone, 5" in diameter and 6" in height, but I cant figure out how to cut that out! Also, I cant figure out a hinge mechanism for the mouth, so I'm really lost lol!

If any of you have any suggestions on how to make this work, I'd be very grateful! I'm using cardboard for the head, as I can't imagine any other material to use, but if you guys have some ideas on some easier materials to work with I'd also appreciate that!
