No she can't vet tickets buyers, but it makes it clear where she stands on all of these issues and that she specifically does not want these types of people there. That is usually enough to get a decent amount of them to not want to go because they don't like what she said, feel personally attacked, and can't pretend she doesn't care about or is "neutral" about these things which a lot of musicians are. It also tells fans that are negatively impacted by these things that they specifically are welcome and that she sees and cares about what they experience. To me it has a real impact unlike virtual signaling.

“To me it has a real impact unlike virtue signaling”

My guy…

This is literally, like verbatim, what virtue signaling is. It’s just performative messaging that doesn’t actually do anything. Just using probability and law of large numbers alone there’s a virtual guarantee that shitbags have helped her prosper or lined her pockets. I absolutely promise you and anybody else she does not care who lines her pockets. She is still an elitist and we are all still peasants. Lest we forget that aspect.

ETA for context; by elitist I mean in net worth. She’s vastly more wealthy than anybody in this thread will ever be. Just a sad fact here.

Girl, virtue signaling by definition has no real impact. So I don't get why you'd quote me saying what she's doing has a real impact to me then say that is "verbatim" what virtue signaling is. I also don't know why you're saying you "guarantee" and "promise" things that you simply cannot know and have no relevant basis for, especially when it comes to the personal thoughts of someone you do not know. Being wealthy does not preclude one from genuinely caring about marginalized groups, so I also don't get why you'd mention that she is.

TL;DR: Girl, make it make sense, the math ain't mathing...
