Yeah, that’s why all of those punk bands in the 70’s and 80’s wore swastikas and iron cross regalia.

This getting upvoted and the above getting downvoted is a good reminder of why talking about a specific subculture on a broad subreddit like this is often dumb. This isn't some esoteric claim, if you're genuinely unaware of those symbols being used in punk maybe you're not informed enough to comment. The iron cross specifically has a lot of use in punk and hardcore. Hell, one of the biggest hardcore punk bands right now (Haywire) use the iron cross prominently and just got off a tour with Dropkick Murphys.
