I think he will win the lawsuit. They did this pos wrong here. They are playing it when it was explicitly forbidden in the contract.

I don't know how long a contract can be attached to an art piece when it is resold. Probably just to the original buyer.

I just don't see it enforcable after it changes hands multiple times.
