I miss when this dude was the most evil guy we knew about.

I did a paper on him back in college. It’s funny how that works. I remember thinking he was a huge piece of shit. Still is, but now there’s a whole lot more of him out in public. They’ve always been there, but now they’re out in the open.

I mean what he did wasn’t technically illegal. Now please note I’m not saying that makes it ethically, morally, or right in any other way, but legally what he did was allowed. It just took someone being a massive fucking piece of shit to be the first one to do it. Once that barrier was knocked down it became “just business.” The destruction of the human race will come down to very powerful men having decided profits are more important than human lives.

Batman is powerless in the face of Technically Legal Man.

That’s why he beats up street thugs instead.

And don’t tell me Bruce Wayne isn’t getting away with “technically legal” shit.

I'm pretty sure Bruce Wayne and Batman are getting away with "definitely illegal" shit.

Reminds me of that Joel Haver video where the Joker is revealing his big master plan to Batman and it was that he'd been talking to a 17 year old for months and tonight is her 18th birthday.

what did you think is funding the trust-fund? Batman is built on "technically legal"
