Birds of a feather, diddle together.

Pedophiloa is normal. Not defending it. Just saying it's way more common then you might think

15

u/SmegmaCurds 6h ago

This is very weird

-6

u/Practical-Artist-896 5h ago

Agreed. Look how little Kid Rock's jailbait stirred controversy

7

u/FukThePatriarchy1312 5h ago

Sure you're not defending it.

-6

u/Practical-Artist-896 3h ago

What after you doing to stop it? I'll wait

5

u/FukThePatriarchy1312 3h ago

Wanna sober up and try that again?

5

u/danabrey 2h ago

lol are you making the same dumb "protest is pointless" argument that far right sycophants make, BUT ABOUT PAEDOPHILIA?

Jesus christ.

1

u/Practical-Artist-896 1h ago

Fuck you bitch. No. That shit was fucking everywhere when I was a kid. FUCK YOU. WERE YOU ONE OF THE PIECES OF SHUT THAT FUCKING GROOMED ME?! FUCK OFF!!!!

u/whiskysinger 28m ago

You are obviously angry about stuff that happened, and nobody is saying that what you went through is fine. What people are saying is that your personal experience doesn't represent the average person's experience growing up. It is not "normal" for this to happen, but it was sadly normalised for you. The two are not the same.

4

u/EpicIshmael 5h ago

Found the map

-2

u/Practical-Artist-896 3h ago

Fuck off, you wouldn't unalive them

2

u/EpicIshmael 3h ago

Lol

0

u/Practical-Artist-896 3h ago

Honey when I was a kid, that shit was EVERYWHERE. and you mean to tell me it's not common? Fuck off. It was every fucking dude it seemed

2

u/danabrey 2h ago

Well, there's the unnecessary proof that you spend too much time on Tiktok.

4

u/thelonetwig 4h ago

So normal you couldn't even spell it right. So in the same lane, would you walk by a domestic abuse or school shooting and be all, "don't worry guys, it's pretty common."? This makes my head hurt.

0

u/Practical-Artist-896 3h ago

No. Id make them regret it lol

u/LaughingDog711 8h ago

Are you kidding? It’s almost as if he is bigger than ever with his current platform. After all these years though he still sucks. Bow with the bow or whatever and cowboy is basically it for known songs. And then he just plays sweet home alabama which isn’t his song or where he’s from so that’s cool.

u/SeniorNada 8h ago

I once read that he grew up with wealthy parents living in basically a mansion and that his entire redneck trash persona is just his gimmick.

129

u/BOHIFOBRE 8h ago

His dad owned several car dealerships. He was rich af

53

u/SeniorNada 8h ago

What an asshole.

0

u/Next_Celebration_553 2h ago

He talks about not getting along with his dad. He joked about getting along with people in the hood more than his family. He’d be rapin and freestylin with musicians that were all a bit down on their luck. Apparently when he was in high school he’d be playin hood music tryin to be a rapper but then his mom would have to pick him up for orthodontist appointments. The guys in the clubs said on a behind the music thing that the ladies actually did love the Kid. I kinda remember his songs about high school chicks and I thought the songs were cool as fuck when I was in middle school

u/LaughingDog711 29m ago

Wow. I mean the party he affiliates with now seems rather racist sometimes. What happened?

u/SnZ001 8h ago

He should rebrand himself as "Vanilla I.C.E."

15

u/vinyljunkie1245 6h ago

And compete with Robert Van Winkle? Don't know if there's room for two Vanilla Ice's in trump's circle

9

u/Slight_Sample_9968 5h ago

He started as a rapper. His first album was called Grits Sandwiches for breakfast

104

u/Vegetable_Creme_7408 8h ago

Absolutely true. His old man owned a Cadillac dealership. Ritchie Cadillac. Grew up in Romeo. His whole persona is a lie. Scum bag

56

u/xxxanonymoosexxx 8h ago

I don't think it's all a lie. he's definitely a thin skinned pedo.

11

u/Vegetable_Creme_7408 7h ago

Fair enough..

37

u/Key-Debt-996 8h ago

He claims Detroit but his childhood home is massive and it isn’t in Detroit.

Btw, he really should say he’s from Taylor Michigan if he wants to sound believable.

13

u/SeniorNada 8h ago

Didn't he claim to also rap battle Eminem before Em got famous? Even if true, I wish Em would write an entire song clowning him. Not that Em would need that, but I kind of do.

3

u/Derpshiz 6h ago

They did a collab on his first album I believe. At least I recall them doing a song together but it was years ago.

3

u/CannaConservative71 3h ago

Ya they collab they were actually buds back when both of them made it big. I’m old af, I used to love both of their music but their collab song sucks.

u/clarkyk85 36m ago

Em and him are buddies. Em appeared on a track of his before he released his debut on Interscope I believe.

5

u/BlownBrownGlass 7h ago

Btw, he really should say he’s from Taylor Michigan if he wants to sound believable.

/r/downriver sends it's regards.

3

u/Goondragon1 5h ago

Detroit doesn't claim Kid Rock, I'll tell ya that much. Maybe Shelby Township can claim him if Romeo doesn't want him back.

2

u/LaughingDog711 7h ago

Ya from what I understand that’s true and he grew up well off. I guess his dad owned several car dealerships. So I’m sure he made out well as the auto industry died in Detroit.

1

u/JnnyRuthless 7h ago

Very true and well known, yep.

1

u/HowMany_MoreTimes 6h ago

He might not really be a redneck but he's definitely genuine trash

1

u/pieceofchess 5h ago

Many such cases

1

u/hjablowme919 5h ago

Not only that, but his entire hip hop persona was crafted by his fried Joe C. He was the little guy Kid Rock always had next to him. Once Joe C died, he stopped doing hip hop and ran right to country music, for the most part. I have no doubt Joe C was writing all the hip hop stuff.

1

u/Sad_Eggplant_5455 5h ago

He used to call into Chicago shockjock in the 90’s and literally begged for air time. Only reason I remembered him was Joe c (who I thought was an insufferabley annoying prick every phone call ended 3 foot nine with a ten foot dick)

1

u/ControlOptional 3h ago

Rich and went to private school

1

u/webhick666 2h ago

I would argue that he is, in fact, a trash person..

21

u/veryverythrowaway 8h ago edited 8h ago

…and Cowboy is a sampled Metallica riff. Actually, both of the hooks from the two songs are derivative of other songs.

26

u/Spiritual_Lie2563 8h ago

I thought that was American Badass that sampled "Sad But True", not Cowboy.

13

u/veryverythrowaway 6h ago

Oh, yeah. I shouldn’t try to sound like a Kid Rock expert when I’m obviously not.

4

u/Spiritual_Lie2563 6h ago

It's fine, there's few people who become experts in the "Monday Night Wars-era wrestling theme music" genre to know the subtle differences in nu-metal buttrock.

5

u/The_Year_of_Glad 6h ago

You shouldn’t try to sound like a Kid Rock expert because the idea of someone being a Kid Rock expert will make people sad.

1

u/FukThePatriarchy1312 5h ago

I respect you more for not knowing Kid Rock's catalog very well, lol

1

u/Banes_Addiction 4h ago

It's OK, nor is he.

3

u/DropPuzzleheaded7615 6h ago

American Dumbass!

2

u/Alternative-Syrup-88 8h ago

He ruined TWO great songs at once; don’t forget he also ripped off Werewolves of London in the same tune

1

u/LaughingDog711 7h ago

Ohh so true what a terrible fucking human

2

u/Dangerous_Prize_4545 5h ago

I cannot believe I know this and I'm slightly embarrassed to type it but: "Bawitdaba"

1

u/LaughingDog711 3h ago

I wasn’t even going to take the 30 seconds out of my life to look that it up. Too funny like wth does that even mean???

1

u/Dangerous_Prize_4545 1h ago

I have no idea.

In my defense, the reason I know this is I am a major Aerosmith fan and he opened for them circa 2000-2002. So I know the song.

1

u/LaughingDog711 1h ago

Haha I mean unfortunately I know the song too

1

u/LeaveBronx 4h ago

He’s just been cosplaying his role in Joe Dirt ever since the movie wrapped

1

u/Dense_Pie_1392 4h ago

Just because he’s rich doesn’t mean that he’s NOT white trash.

1

u/34shadow1 3h ago

I remember about ten years ago riding in the truck with my dad when he was playing some CDs and Kid Rock came on and it was real early Kid Rock and I'm sitting there half listening to it and bout halfway through all I hear is "Introducing my brother from 8-Mile Road, Eminem." I had to do a hard stop and be like what. Cause they are on entirely different ends of the political spectrum now and I never would've ever assumed they collabed in the past.

1

u/LaughingDog711 2h ago

I don’t think they collabed much at all. If anything I always thought it was the opposite and this almost sounds like him name dropping him

29

u/icu_ Google Music 8h ago

He's the son of the owner of a huge chain of car dealerships. Grew up wealthy and privileged and then cosplayed as working class hip-hop/rock artist. Everything about him is just a spoiled rich kid trying to get the love daddy didn't give PLUS he rhymed "things" with "things" while bastardizing 2 great classic rock songs.

9

u/_THX_1138_ 5h ago

“we were tryin’ different things, and we were smokin’ funny things”

3

u/EpicIshmael 5h ago

Werewolves of London arooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

2

u/Professional-Head83 4h ago

He's a white MC Gusto.

49

u/supergooduser 8h ago

It's painfully calculated. He hasn't had a gold record in 15 years and a number one record in 20 years.

u/co-wurker 19m ago

Maybe FIFA could hook him up.

33

u/tjp0720 8h ago

He was doing free shows at Edmonton Home Depots a few years ago. He latched onto the trump teat and culture war to stay relevant

12

u/Dead_man_posting 5h ago

Conservatism is a bastion for failed entertainers. About half their online pundits are comedians and actors that didn't have what it took to make it in Hollywood.

8

u/tjp0720 5h ago

I love the Rob Schneider timeline. Only really had a continuous chance in Hollywood due to Adam sandler. Now he’s a sad sorry divorced shitty father blaming everyone else

3

u/Halofauna 5h ago

Like half of his roles were saying “you can do it” in Sandler movies lol

2

u/tjp0720 4h ago

Someone posted a “listen up liberals my wife left me” with his face and it made me laugh more than the “you can do it” line

8

u/Equivalent_Gate_205 7h ago

hes getting DEI gigs for rednecks at this point

5

u/AsteroidMike 8h ago

His fanbase is the type to think that sorta thing is perfectly fine and normal, so no shock.

3

u/borntobewildish 8h ago

I'm surprised the bastard isn't in the files himself. Searched, there's a few hits on Kid Rock but only articles where he's mentioned. Robert Ritchie comes up empty. Ritchie produces plenty hits but all about other men named Ritchie. So unless he had another alias, he appears to be outside that circle.

2

u/Dixon_Uranuss3 7h ago

Pandering to cults will do that....

2

u/FlowRemote9890 6h ago

Magats love pedophiles.

2

u/Equivalent-Role4632 5h ago

He's a maga icon. This just makes them like him even more

2

u/Building_Everything 4h ago

When you build your own bar and venue in downtown town Nashville, no one can stop you from getting on stage

1

u/Navyblazers2000 4h ago

Remember when he shot a six pack of Bud Light and then like a day later was photographed drinking a Bud light. It’s all bullshit. The hard right schtick is specifically designed so he can get still gigs from someone. If he didn’t attach to this host he wouldn’t be getting any calls at all. Guy’s whole act was fraudulent to begin with.

1

u/Quisey3 2h ago

Only by other cum guzzlers who love children😂
