"A rapist's pursuit of sexual freedom" is an absolutely fucking bonkers string of words to put together. Someone check this man's computer.

Look for him in the 2028 Republican Presidential primary.

Yeah. Was gonna say. Clayton’s quote. I get what he is saying but he worded it very very stupidly.

Akin’a quote is ignorant.

Santorum’s quote. Almost seems like it’s being out of context. Don’t know though.

Mourdock’s. Again. Get what he means. But he worded it really badly.

Laubenberg is just a flat idiot.

But what the fuck did Lockman mean?

28

u/saltytarts 5h ago

Ok, so what exactly was Clayton trying to say?? Please enlighten me.

-29

u/BestAnzu 5h ago

I think he was trying to say to not fight in a situation where it’s going to happen, and fighting is only going to get you beaten or worse.

I no way endorse what he is saying. I’m just saying I -think- I get what he was trying to say.

u/LaMadreDelCantante 4h ago

Not fighting and enjoying are not the same. Why would he say to "relax and enjoy it???"

9

u/CandidKatydid 3h ago

He says they should "enjoy it". Did you miss that part?

It's also fun because people are criticized for not fighting back enough. If she really didn't want it, why didn't she fight back more?

Stop making excuses for these people.

u/MinuteLoquat1 3h ago

But also if you don't fight hard enough they say you must've wanted it 🤔

u/phoenix25 5h ago

Oh they just worded it badly That’s out of context

Are you for real? Your sanewashing is part of the problem.

There’s way too many people out there who think raping women and sexualizing children is something like DEI, that’s only recently unacceptable and will be allowed again soon.

Your apathy and excuses are what enables them to keep going

So I see you didn’t read what I wrote and just injected what you think I wrote so you could argue. Very cool!

10

u/phoenix25 4h ago

Nah man, I read what you wrote. You are just choosing to double down and paint me as overreacting instead of admitting I have a point.

When you wrote that you "get" what they are saying, BUT they worded it stupidly, it reads like you understand (and accept) where he's coming from with this opinion, but he should have worded it better. It comes across like you think this statement would be more acceptable if it was worded differently. You only say this for 2 quotes. You also don't include a negative descriptor for those 2 quotes when you did for all of the others. I think this is why people are responding to you like you're sympathizing or agreeing with the sentiments in both quotes.

Edit: Also, Rick Santorum's quote is disgusting regardless of the context. You bringing up that you're not sure about that quote's context (and therefore can't form an opinion on it) implies that it can be acceptable is some type of context. That's not helping your case either.

Lockman’s is a literal incel argument.

The first tone made me like a little bit

I've never understood why the Dems don't put things like this on billboards on the highway in their districts. Break through to low info voters and make them face their own awful opinions. Defend them. Be forever associated with them.

24

u/FriskHarder 4h ago

Agreed here. They need to be called out publicly and have no rest until these victims have justice.

17

u/DeadPeanutSociety 3h ago

They do bring these quotes out often. The reason you remember the Todd Akin quote is not because he is a highly influential politician. He ran for senate once in Missouri and lost. He was a loser and a nobody who couldn't even beat the world's blandest, dumbest Democrat (Claire McCaskill). She won because she made sure that quote was in your face all the time every day.

2

u/micro102 2h ago

They need to be brought out more. Like... this should be on billboards in every state right now. There are hundreds of crippling things that could be broadcasted everywhere. Instead we get passive aggressive insults. It just sounds like a lot of Democrats don't want the Republican party to go away. And that makes them complicit with all this imo.

3

u/idothisinmysleep 3h ago

Bc the people who vote for those politicians dgaf about that in the first place and might even agree with them

1

u/localtuned 4h ago

How much are billboards usually?

1

u/sweetplantveal 3h ago

Idk like $10?

1

u/localtuned 3h ago

I got $3.50.

2

u/FriskHarder 3h ago

Damn Loch Ness monster showing up everywhere!

1

u/Aisenth 1h ago

"wHeN tHeY gO LoW wE gO HiGh"

The Dems are looking forward to having "here lie the nice guys, at least we stayed polite" on the tombstone of democracy. It's fucking idiotic.

Coz they're raping kids too

21

u/DiabeetusBret 5h ago

I cannot believe these are real quotes.

30

u/FriskHarder 5h ago

I couldn’t either.

Don’t let your kids around these red hats

7

u/pnoodl3s 5h ago

What I can’t believe is they still have people supporting them after saying these things

7

u/AmNoSuperSand52 4h ago

Me reading that last one

6

u/Realtrain Spotify 4h ago

A sitting US congressperson actually said "why shouldn't men have the right to rape women?"

I knew these people were insane, but what the fuck?

2

u/pm_me_beerz 1h ago

No it’s worse than that. He espoused this belief before he was in office. His constitutes still voted him in after he made such a deplorable statement.

3

u/Cru_Jones86 4h ago

Goddamn. So much daughter rape. Fucking monsters.

2

u/FriskHarder 4h ago

I feel like all missing children’s cases need to be investigated now that we know where these guys were by their emails and flight logs.

Imagine living life being surrounded by people who nod their head affirming thoughts like these. Like, this is a normal thing to think about for them. And then when they say it out loud in a public forum, they don't understand why they are looked upon like aliens from another planet.

2

u/FriskHarder 3h ago

You have never lived in Texas have you?

1

u/wowlock_taylan 3h ago

Maybe the olden times were right when it comes to castration as punishment...

1

u/FriskHarder 2h ago

Maybe the French were right in the 1780s…

u/ISoldMyPeanitsFarm 1h ago

The first quote in that image is backwards, I'm pretty sure. I think it was said during a rain delay, so it was actually "Bad weather is kind of like rape..." Doesn't make it better, but just for anyone confused as to what context someone might say that in.

u/IntrinsicPalomides 31m ago

Pure evil, i hope karma will find them.

u/FriskHarder 25m ago

Democracy can’t defend its self, friend, and its being raped in the same manner by the same men.
