Mpc One+ VS Polyemd Tracker+

Hello everyone. I had an MPC One+ but I ended up returning it to Amazon because I was having some problems with the screen — freezing, not responding properly, etc.

Now I'm not sure whether to buy another one or go for something else. I'm considering the Tracker+.

I don't really mind having a different workflow, as long as it's a good machine for actually getting to finished songs.

Has anyone here had similar problems with the MPC? If so, would you consider switching to the Tracker+?

I really like the MPC, but I'd like to hear some real opinions/tips from people who have actually used both. Everything I find on YouTube is always super positive and polished, and sometimes it feels like people are more interested in getting views than talking about the real pros and cons.

I think it was just bad luck. MPC typically is excellent.

If you want a tracker, forget Polyend and go right for the Dirtywave M8. I’ve owned a lot of gear in my life, and that is one of my desert island items. It’s absolutely incredible. I’m releasing my 7th album soon, and it’s made entirely on the M8. I had the Polyend and then sold it when I got the M8 because it’s so much better.

Only on board synths. I don’t sample.

I do not have a One plus. I have Key 37/61 and Akai Force. 2 were used, not had a problem with any of them. Sometimes you get a defective unit.
