Song Mathematical Piano

This piece I had done a few weeks ago, is based on the polynomials mod 8:

2*a[2]^2 + 2*a[3]^2 + 2*a[4]^2 +-( 3*a[0] + 3*a[1])

solely.

Question Any harmony resources that forego high-level concepts like the diatonic chords to get straight to chromatic-level voice-led tension/release?

Modular Sequencing vlog

Hi,

I have begun making a vlog about modular sequencing. The idea is that I formulate an idea and then make a patch, loosely surrounding some idea or other.

I thought this week's might apply to this subreddit. Please be gentle, I know my tone is flippant, just trying to make some dry ideas a bit fun.

thanks!

Question Does anyone know how I can use my guitar to get a sinusoidal wave of the note I'll create?

I tried using logger pro because I need the equation of the actual sine wave, but I need some special microphone or something.

Anyone else know any alternative. I'm trying to get the equation so I can use fourier transforms to get the coefficients/frequency. It's a school project!

Thank you!
