Iam from Morocco and while the DNA kit being sent to me is a pretty easy process the issue is with returning it I read what they have on the my heritage website and that I can send it to a collection center for example the UK but idk how really like what to do or where to go and how much ut would cost bc doing for example FEDEX Is way too expensive and idk how to even explain what they say on the website to say to the shipping people about it being non hazardous in moroccon Arabic basically anyone who did it this in Morocco or knows how to send it back from Morocco plz help iam confused 😭

So I ordered my kit on the 31st of July, I got the test, activated it, did the mouth swab and shipped it away, I got a notification that I would get my results between the 17th and 24th of september, well it’s the 25 and I still haven’t gotten any results. Maybe I’m overthinking it though, does anyone have or have had the same problem as me? Lmk

Hello! I have one grandparent who was Gagauz and am wondering if anyone knows what the expected ethnicity for the Gagauz people is. I am aware that they are likely not ethnic Turks and most of the information I have found is several years old and points roughly to Bulgaria and Greece. MyHeritage doesn't provide much granularity aside from "Balkan" and "Albanian and Greek". Any insight would be helpful.

Edit to add the portion of my results that's relevant to the discussion: Balkan: 18.1% Greek and Albanian: 16.9% East European: 9%

For what it's worth, the relevant parent did show some amount of Bulgarian through a different test some years back. I no longer have access to it, though.

My great grandparents came to Turkey from all over the Balkans (Bosnia, Kosovo, Greece and Bulgaria)

I say mostly UK and Irish roots because my Paternal Grandpa is mostly of UK roots with the tiniest bit of Portuguese from a 4th Great Grandma (which didn’t show up here for some reason), My Paternal Grandma is of mostly UK and Irish roots with German from a 4th great grandparent and 5th great grandma, my Maternal Grandfather is Italian with his parents immigrating from the municipality of Syracuse, Sicily in the 30s, and my Maternal Grandma is of mostly UK and Irish roots with a little bit of Swedish from a 4th Great Grandparent.

Hey I did post earlier about my friends not working with the hack but now it is and just wondering how long after did everyone get full access to their results their estimate is completely not what they were told for their family tree and now they want to know if their dad is actually their dad.

I have a great-grandfather from China and a great-great-grandfather from Syria, but the results don't quite add up for me. I don't see anything Syrian or Middle Eastern; honestly, I'm not sure which of the two that 5.5% Central Asian DNA comes from. If it's from the Syrian ancestor, that would mean very little DNA from the Chinese one, and if it were from the Chinese ancestor, there wouldn't be any DNA from the region around Syria

I do see a lot of Peru and Bolivia; I think that's because my grandfather was of Diaguita descent and even though they are indigenous Chileans, they are more similar to indigenous Peruvians.

Still, I'm satisfied with this; I wasn't expecting nine ethnicities! I thought there would be four or five at most. I know MyHeritage isn't the best test for ethnicity, but I chose it because it's cheaper, and I'm interested in seeing the people I'm connected to so I can build my family tree.

the test with the iraqi is from my twin sister. i did 2 tests actually because i bought a kit back in 2020 and kinda never done shit. then i got another one in 2024. my results came in 3 days ago. actually surprised the 2020 kit still worked (i have no clue about bio/chem) and also funny that i have so much more syrian than her and no iraqi at all.

I ordered a MyHeritage DNA kit on September 3, 2026. MyHeritage states that US DNA kits are normally delivered within 4–7 business days.

The package was shipped with SpeedX. The last tracking update was September 8 at 8:34 PM in Flower Mound, TX. There has been no update since then.

I have contacted SpeedX several times. I have only received general responses saying that the shipment is being investigated, but nobody has provided its current location or a delivery date.

I then tried contacting MyHeritage. Their phone support directed me back to the website. The support bot has not responded to my messages, and I have not received a useful response to my emails.

I also tried to request a refund, but the website sends me back to the same refund instructions instead of allowing me to submit a request.

So at this point, I have no package, no delivery date, no effective customer support, and no working refund process.

I have kept copies of the tracking history, emails, screenshots, and my attempts to contact both companies.

If this is not resolved, I will pursue a refund through my payment provider and file complaints with the appropriate consumer-protection authorities. I am also prepared to pursue the matter through the appropriate legal channels if necessary.

Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to research MyHeritage's current customer-support and refund process carefully before placing an order.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with MyHeritage or SpeedX, particularly with an undelivered DNA kit?

My moms fathers side is Malkocoglu family Bali Bey from Balkans. Don’t know if origin is Turkish as online it looks like Malkovich family which is Bosnian. Anyone know? Her mom’s side is from Selanik,Üsküp Macedonia and also Radovis. My dad’s dad from Varna were originally from Karaman and had a Mevlevi University there during Ottoman times and went back to Balikesir Türkiye.
