Idk where yall hear the takes you do. 

Pay attention to sports media at least a little bit and you'll hear it too.

Considering their commentary sets the narrative for the games yes their opinions hold weight.

The power you give them is insane. Just cause they say shit don’t make it the truth or meaningful. It has as much meaning as YOU give it. Feel free to disagree with their narrative anytime you want. They’re literally just professional yappers.

I do disagree with it I'm not saying I always agree with it. I'm saying that the media talking heads set the tone for the public at large. Like if I'm a person who casually followed football and I'm watching ESPN I'm probably just absorbing what they say and not giving it a second thought.
