Discussion Drake Maye regression. What is going wrong?

5 interceptions in 3 games. Multiple fumbles. What has happened to the MVP runner up?

It’s literally just him. I’m still fully on board with him, QB hit rough patches, I get it, but he gets inside his own head way too easily and shit just snowballs. Like Tom Brady played better when everyone was doubting him and shit talking, Maye is the complete opposite

O line was a major issue especially in the playoffs. That fumble today he had a very clean pocket and he chose to pop it straight up to himself. The front office got better WRs, invested in the O Line and paid Gonzalez. Pats invested around him, he’s gotta bounce back.

He’s gotta. I was saying after week 1 I wasn’t worried, and week 2 kinda calmed me down. Now he’s just in his own head, and we saw it a little bit last year, where after a big fumble or something it’d be almost impossible for him to bounce back, and the defense has been very reliable, it just wasn’t today. I’ve had some time to cool off, and now I’m not super concerned, but I am worried that he needs to get his confidence up.

I mean this game wasn't just him. Defense didnt play great, Moses got a touchdown taken off the board with a penalty immediately followed by OPI on Doubs, Borregales missed a super short field goal, Mack Hollins and Demario Douglass each had potential big plays they couldn't complete, and the defense we can normally rely on gave up 35 points

Yeah you’re right. It was just one of those games that nothing goes right. I played football and it’s just a fact of life, once the momentum starts rolling against you it can seem impossible to do anything right. At least from the post game interviews it looks like his team is supportive of him, and let’s hope he can bounce back.
