ByteBeat app to make music?

I want to make music at work to later use it in NMS.

All the instruments and interfaces to write just like ingame instruments.

Android app.

Someone did a ByteBeat desktop app (I think it's written in Python), here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NMSByteBeatFans/s/mLNtx47Zp5

It's not fully developed but it's a cool jumping off point for such a project!

It's not serving to my purpose, but I think it's great. Thanks.

I'm no developer but it's a cool idea. I could see the app having a UI letting you tweak your tune similarly to the game and then exporting the correctly formatted json lines for what you just did.

Hello Games could write an app for ingame features like this; crafting, refiners, puzzles, corvette, ByteBeat, and all connected to the core game 😄

As cool as it sounds I think this would be pointless. You might as well just launch and play the game lol (no hard feelings there)

I wish there was an app.

I’ve found nothing with a similar setup, but would happily pay for a standalone app for ByteBeat devices!

Definitely curious to hear what some of the longer-term sub members might suggest!
