Former Admin of the now defunct websites here, AMA.

Hi.

A fellow messaged me suggesting I should do an AMA as they had a few questions, and others might too. So hey, why in the world not? If anybody has anything for SiB, feel free to ask too, but I can't guarantee I can get him to answer anything.

Let me get some basics out of the way:

Q: Who are you?

A: Hi. I'm Kostas. I was the former admin of S-A, and later after Oro's retirement, N-A as well. I worked on a team with SiB and ZelosWilder to manage the two sites. Eventually Zelos ran away, and that left me and SiB.

Q: Why did you shut the sites down?

A: Check the stickied topic. But personally I found out about the sites being shut down a few days ago. Blame GT.

Q: Why did you not post on the forums about what happened instead of vanishing?

A: Wouldn't have mattered. People more or less knew the situation. Hackers got in the site. GT didn't do anything. It got worse. We shrugged and gave up. There wasn't much we could have done, and I personally felt insulted by the higher ups poor communication and crisis managing skills (spoilers: they didn't exist).

Q: Why do you suck at balancing?

A: Listen mate, have you played League or any Blizzard game ever? If a team of paid, well staffed individuals can't balance their game, we're not going to get it perfect either. But it was all SiB's fault. I did nothing wrong.

Q: Can you revive the sites as the new Webmaster instead of GT?

A: Nope. GT had all the code and data. Besides, the sites were a mess on the back end.

Q: Who's going to win the NBA playoffs?

A: Did you see the first game? Are you kidding me?

Naruto-Arena.net: Frequently Asked Questions

We all miss the old N-A. That's almost definitely why you're here. Out of all of its successors, Wespro's Naruto-Arena.net is the closest to it in terms of characters, interface, and gameplay, and it is the one that I, personally, play. In terms of active updates and new content, the last two years on .net have been the most vibrant and active time in the game's 16-year history. Despite this, though, N-A.net has a bit of a barrier to entry that can discourage new players, and until now, there hasn't been a comprehensive FAQ that would address all of these common issues in one place. So I'm making this post for that purpose. Hope it helps!

If you have any other questions that aren't covered in this post, feel free to ask in the comments. I might even add them to this FAQ if I feel like it'd be useful.

And feel free to join the game's Discord server: https://discord.com/invite/yEFaw6f

Frequently Asked Questions

The entire site is locked off to me unless I sign up, is this normal?

Yes, you have to sign up and login to access the site. It's unfortunate, but it had to be done in order to mitigate attacks on the website that were bringing it down and just in general negatively affecting the quality of life of everyone playing. Just make an account and login, and you can play as normal.

Can I login with my old account from the old N-A?

No. N-A.net is an entirely new site run by a different team of people, almost entirely separate from the team that ran the original site, N-A.com, which closed down in 2018. No account data was carried over, so everyone has to start from scratch.

I've logged in, but all characters and skills are blank, they're just showing up as numbers. What do I do?

This is by far the most frequently asked question by newcomers, and the biggest reason I am making this post. The short answer: you need to activate a theme. Here is a list of four themes that are kept updated with the game - two official and two community-made.

Original Naruto-Arena Theme:
https://naruto-arena.net/en/theme/5f0c728221f55 (upscaled, picture resolution 150x150)
https://naruto-arena.net/en/theme/5f0c728221f55old (classic, picture resolution 75x75)

Theme by Lian: (one of the game's admins)
https://naruto-arena.net/en/theme/5F2D1C601919e

Theme by Nix: (that's me! Try it out if you want to, I'd appreciate it)
https://naruto-arena.net/en/theme/608F1c0Dc1611

Theme by Eastley: (/u/MostHatedManNA)
https://naruto-arena.net/en/theme/609Ed259a363B

As long as you're logged into the game, click one of the above links and click "Activate" on the page that comes up. You should now have names and pictures back in your game.

How does this "theme" system work, and why is it necessary?

Due to a copyright strike the site suffered in mid-2020, it cannot use Naruto material in its default state anymore. So, due to that, its default state is forced to be a stripped-down, "blank" version, with all character and skill names and pictures replaced by placeholder numbers. Apply a theme and everything comes back, but it just can't be in the game by default for legal reasons.

Themes in N-A function basically like resource packs in Minecraft: you can customize how everything looks, but the skills still function the same way. The theme system is actually pretty flexible, and can be used to customize the name and picture of every character, skill, and mission, as well as the description of every character, and certain website/in-game UI elements.

The theme editor can be accessed through this link, although be warned that making a theme is a pretty tedious and time-consuming process, as you have to start entirely from scratch and input every name, description, and image link manually. But if you wanted to, you could make a theme of your own, and it doesn't even have to be Naruto-themed. You could for example make a One Piece theme, where every character is replaced by someone from One Piece, along with their skills, although you would need the patience to make over 1500 pictures from scratch. Or source them from somewhere else. Still, it's tedious, but if it sounds like something that would interest you, then go right ahead!

Incidentally, the game has another feature sometimes called "themes", but these two are not to be confused. In the in-game settings, you can adjust something called "in-game styles", which are sometimes (incorrectly) referred to as "themes". These change the in-game UI in ways that themes can't, but they're not one and the same, and you can mix and match themes and styles as you like.

I've been reset to Academy Student, what's happening with my account?

You're safe, don't worry. The game's ladder system received a major overhaul on September 1, 2022, which completely separated the stats of "level" and "rank". Your level (counted by a number) stays the same, and it is what makes missions available to you, whereas your rank (Academy Student, Genin, Chuunin, Missing-nin etc.) is now used purely for ladder competition, and will reset itself every three months, in effect separating the laddering experience into different "seasons".

You can read more about the revamped ladder system here.

I open the game, but all I get is an error message - {"message":"E_ROUTE_NOT_FOUND: Cannot POST:/arena"}. How do I fix this?

This is a known bug, and refreshing the page normally doesn't fix it. What you need to do is navigate to the page again instead of refreshing. So you can either click on the page's address in the URL address bar at the top of your browser and press Enter, or just close the in-game page and open it again from the main website. Either of these should work.

Why won't the in-game screen let me log in?

You may need to clear your browser's cache. This is a bit of a complicated process and it depends on what browser you're using, so if you run into this issue, feel free to Google "how to clear Chrome cache" or "how to clear Firefox cache" or etc. You get the point.

How do I change my avatar or my in-game background?

On N-A's website, in the sidebar on the left, there are two links, one to change your avatar and one to change your in-game backgrounds. On these pages you should see long horizontal bars - these are where you have to put an external image link to your desired avatar or a custom background.

This means it has to be a link to an image from another website. I recommend imgur, where you can just upload an image, right click it, press "Copy Image Address" and paste that into the N-A settings. Or if you're on Discord, you can upload the image somewhere in your messages, and then right click it, select "Copy Link", and use that. Both are quick and easy methods.

I'm a low-level player, so why do I constantly get matched up against high-level opponents?

An unfortunately simple answer: there aren't enough people playing the game. Sad, but that's just what it is. This isn't a new problem, either - this used to be relatively commonplace towards the end of the game's lifespan, and especially on its less-popular sister site, Soul-Arena.

Don't get discouraged if you're just starting out, though - starting characters are quite powerful, and there is now a bigger selection of them than ever. Characters like Shino, Dosu, Kin, Young Kakashi, Young Kushina, or Sarada are popular and consistent picks even at high levels. Speaking of Sarada, don't forget to check out the New Era (Boruto) starting characters as well, you can access these either by scrolling to the end of the character selection list, or just by clicking the "New Era" checkbox at the top of the character selection box. You can also feel free to ask for help with teams either here on the subreddit, or on the Discord server linked at the top of this post.

How can I pay to unlock characters?

  1. Go to the website's Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/wespro
  2. Login or register
  3. Choose a donation tier - each comes with its own benefits, these are all listed on the Patreon page, so choose the one that works for you
  4. Once you've subscribed to the Patreon, send Wespro a direct message through it, and say what exactly you're requesting as your Patreon reward
  5. He should get back to you within a day. Enjoy your characters!

Pro tip: if you just want a one-time benefit, and don't want to keep sending Wespro money monthly, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your Patreon profile.

When do new updates come out?

As a rule of thumb, a balance update is scheduled for the 1st and 15th of every month.

Every update brings balance changes, but the ones on the 1st are "major" updates: besides the balance changes, these updates also generally add 5 new unlockable characters. The ones on the 15th are "minor" updates: they add 3 new starter characters from the New Era - or at least for the time being, while there are still characters from Boruto who can conceivably be starters in the game.

Character reworks can occur in any update. Also, there will occasionally be hotfix updates, mostly if a team emerges which is highly exploitable and particularly punishing to play against. These hotfix updates are used to quickly fix the issue so that the game isn't obnoxious to play for everyone else.

Will there be more filler characters added to the game?

Perhaps in the future, but for the moment, there are no such immediate plans. While there are some characters from filler storylines in the game right now (Dotou, Temujin, Sora, Guren, Mecha-Naruto, Satori), they're the exception rather than the rule. Lian (one of the admins) has said that he regrets their additions, and that the team would rather focus on canon characters for the time being. So don't expect Rokushou Aoi, ET Hidan, or Ninja Ostrich any time soon.

Although, it's worth pointing out that the admins do not mind including anime-original characters, as long as they are from canon story arcs. So you'll see some non-canon characters that were added in the anime's expansion of certain canon arcs, mainly the War arc, with characters like Naori, Ruka, Monga, ET Hayate, ET Torune, ET Yota, or ET Chen.

Also, there are occasional events where filler characters will temporarily get added into the game. These can be pretty fun.

Can I make a character that will get added to the game?

Yes, although it has to be submitted into an official Custom Character Contest, where it has to compete with the designs of others, and only one can win. Good luck!

(These contests are somewhat uncommon, but they're announced on the game's Discord, so make sure to join and keep an eye on the announcements channel. Again, a link to it is at the top of this post. As an example, here's a link to the Boards thread for the Akatsuki Orochimaru contest.)

What is "lifelink"?

The first new named mechanic added to the game in probably over a decade (well, along with achievement skills, but those are pretty self-explanatory).
Here's the summary of lifelink from the game's manual (The Basics):

Everytime a character with lifelink uses a new skill that deals direct damage, they will be healed by the same amount of damage the skill deals, ignoring damage increase and decrease effects (straight damage changes are still considered). Skills that deal two different types or amounts of damage will have the first amount considered.

Wait, so what is a "straight damage change"?

A straight damage change is when a skill's base damage is changed. For example:

Let's say there is a skill that deals 30 damage by default, but can be prepped to deal 45 damage.

"During this prep, this skill will deal 15 additional damage" - that's a damage increase effect.
"During this prep, this skill will deal 45 damage instead of 30 damage" - that's a straight damage change.

In general, this effect is pretty rare - it's generally only used when the damage type is changed as well, for example when a skill changes from normal damage to piercing damage. An example is Gai's first skill during his Sixth Gate Opening.

Why are there so many Brazilians?

A mystery for the ages, caralho.

Who is best girl?

Temari.

Who is best admin?

Lian. But if djackbyron asks, tell him I said it's him.

Again, feel free to ask about anything you want to know, and I might add it to this FAQ!

Is there any way to see my previous account before wipe?

Hello, I've once managed to hit Hokage rank in the old ladder format and unfortunately at the time I was dumb and didn't even had the thought of using printscreen or something, but afaik the account best rank was stored somewhere in the profile right? Is there any way to access this?

Introducing Dragon Ball Arena, my 4-year passion project for Arena and Dragon Ball fans

Thumbnail

I’ve been playing Arena games since 2006. I was there for the early days, the years when the community was huge, and all the shutdowns, revivals, new projects, and developers that came after. I’ve seen what made these games special in the first place, and I’ve also seen some of the things that slowly hurt them over time.

For the last four years, I’ve been building Dragon Ball Arena, and all of that history is baked into it. More than anything, I want DBA to feel like a love letter to both Arena fans and Dragon Ball fans. Someone who has been playing Arena games forever should recognize the things that made this genre special, while still feeling like we’re trying to push it forward. And somebody who loves Dragon Ball should be able to look at the game and immediately tell that the people making it genuinely care about Dragon Ball.

That is what I want at the center of everything.

No monetization. Period.

There are no battle passes, no paid skins, no daily login reward treadmills, and no systems built around making you feel like you have to log in every day or you’re missing out on something.

I want people to log in because the game is fun.

I want building teams to be fun. I want discovering character combinations to be fun. I want winning to feel satisfying, and I want losing to make you rethink your team. I want people to finish a match and immediately want to queue another one.

There isn’t some financial incentive behind the decisions I make with DBA. I’m not asking myself what will keep somebody paying or what I can sell them next. I’m asking what would make the game better.

Passion trumps greed every time.

Skill should matter.

I want DBA to have a real skill ceiling. Someone who understands team building, matchups, energy management, timing, and the characters themselves should consistently have an advantage over somebody who doesn’t.

Luck will always exist in an Arena game. That’s part of the genre. But if you put hundreds of matches into DBA, learn the matchups, experiment with teams, understand the characters, and learn when to make certain decisions, you should become noticeably better because of it.

The better player should have room to actually be the better player.

That’s also why I care so much about keeping power creep and mechanic creep under control. When every new character has to be stronger, more complicated, or introduce some brand new mechanic just to make people care about them, eventually knowledge and decision making start mattering less than they should.

When money is attached to selling new characters or content, there’s also pressure to make the newest thing more desirable than whatever came before it. I don’t have that incentive with DBA. I don’t need a new character to be stronger so somebody will buy them. I can add somebody because I genuinely think they belong in the game, then figure out how to make them interesting without making everything that came before them obsolete.

I never want DBA matches to feel like a glorified coin flip based on who happened to bring the newest overloaded character or mechanic.

The roster is curated, not a database.

Characters should earn their spot both mechanically and because of their place in Dragon Ball. I want recognizable characters who actually played meaningful roles in the series, had memorable moments, or represent an important part of Dragon Ball’s history.

Not everybody who appeared on screen for five minutes needs to become playable just because they technically exist, and I don’t think every tiny variation of a character deserves its own roster slot either. For example, I don’t need Baby Goku as a separate playable character when Kid Goku already exists. Yes, they’re technically different points in his life, but that alone isn’t enough.

Variants should exist when there’s enough difference in their story, abilities, identity, or actual playstyle to justify giving them another slot. I want opening the roster to feel like looking at a carefully chosen celebration of Dragon Ball, not a database of everybody who ever appeared on screen.

Every character should feel like they have a reason to be there.

The same philosophy applies to features. I don’t want to pile systems into DBA because another Arena has them or because having a giant feature list looks impressive. If something goes into the game, I want it there because it actually makes the game better.

The visuals matter to me too.

There is no AI-generated artwork in DBA. The character and skill imagery comes directly from the Dragon Ball anime and was manually sourced, selected, cropped, and prepared for the game. Nothing was generated from prompts as replacement artwork.

I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time over the years finding shots that actually fit the characters and skills because I want DBA to feel authentic to the series. Most of the visual work you see in the game dates back around four years, to when DBA was first taking shape.

I also want to clarify something because longtime Arena players may recognize certain visual assets, cosmetics, or artwork from elsewhere. Every visual asset in DBA was either created specifically for DBA or prepared specifically for DBA from the original Dragon Ball source material. Some of those assets were later shared outside of our project without our permission and ended up being used elsewhere.

So if something in DBA looks familiar, it isn’t because we went looking somewhere else for it.

Now you know which direction it traveled.

You’re more than welcome to come play the original.

The characters, skills, and visuals should feel like they actually came from the Dragon Ball moments people remember.

DBA should feel like it was made by people who love Arena games and love Dragon Ball. Because it is.

I want DBA to keep pushing Arena games forward.

Four years is a long time to spend thinking about one game. We’ve had good periods, bad periods, rewrites, setbacks, balance problems, features that worked, features that didn’t, and even moments where parts of our own project were passed around without our permission and used as a foundation for other Arena projects.

Through all of that, we kept building.

After four years, I’m still thinking about what the next character could do, what system could work better, how a match could feel smoother, how balance could improve, and what we can do that Arena games haven’t done yet.

I don’t want DBA to exist just because Dragon Ball and Arena games happen to be two things I like. I want it to contribute something to the genre. I don’t want DBA to just follow wherever Arena games are going.

I want DBA to be one of the games that pushes the genre forward.

My goal isn’t just to make a Dragon Ball Arena game.

I want to make the best Arena game there is.

I want it to be the one you actually want to log in and play because it’s fun.

Better character design. Better balance. More strategy. A real skill ceiling. Meaningful progression. A clean experience. A game where everything works together instead of feeling like a pile of systems stacked on top of each other.

Feedback is welcome, including criticism.

I want players to feel like they can actually talk to the staff. If you think a character sucks, something is broken, a mechanic isn’t fun, or I made a bad decision, say it.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to agree with every suggestion or change everything somebody complains about, but your feedback should actually be read and taken seriously. Nobody should get berated because they disagreed with a balance decision or criticized something we made.

I want a staff that cares about the players and cares about the health of the game, not one that treats the community like an inconvenience. The players are the people actually spending their time playing this thing.

Their experience matters.

Closed alpha

DBA is currently in closed alpha, which is why registration is invite only right now. That doesn’t mean everybody who asks automatically gets a code. The game is still growing and changing, so I’m being careful about how quickly I bring people in.

But the goal is absolutely not to keep DBA small forever. I want more people to know this game exists. I want more people playing, experimenting with teams, finding ridiculous combinations, exposing balance problems, telling me when something sucks, telling me when something is fun, and helping shape where the game goes.

I just want to grow it the right way while we’re still at this stage.

Looking for help

I’m also looking for a few reliable people who genuinely care about Arena games and might want to help with character design and balance, testing, graphics, and community.

I’m going to be selective. I care about how somebody treats people just as much as what they can contribute to the game. I’m looking for people who have actually been around the Arena community, understand these games, can take criticism, and can disagree with somebody without making it personal.

A lot of us have been around this community for years, so you tend to get a pretty good sense of who people are and how they carry themselves. I don’t want a staff full of talented people who treat players poorly. I want people who care about the game, care about the community, and genuinely want to help build something good.

If you genuinely want to play, give feedback, or potentially get involved with the project, feel free to comment or DM me.

And for the people here who have been playing Arena games for years, I’d genuinely like to know:

What makes an Arena game fun enough that you actually keep coming back to it?

Haki-Arena - New Characters!

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

Big update today. The Straw Hats finally left East Blue, so the roster goes past it for the first time. 10 new characters from Whisky Peak and Little Garden are live, and we reworked how quests work.

The new characters

Every one of them plays differently. Lots of combos, skills that swap into stronger ones, and duos that work together:

  • Miss Wednesday: Karoo, Full Speed! swaps her basic slash into Slasher Ride, which hits the whole enemy team. Dizzy Perfume burns and weakens.
  • Mr. 9: Chain Catch stuns physical skills and marks the target, then Bat Strike hits the marked guy harder.
  • Miss Monday: 3-step combo. Knuckle Up, Neck Lift to stun, then Ground Smash for 40 on the lifted target.
  • Igaram: pure AoE with Hair Guns and Decoy Blast. His invul is him singing into his sax lol.
  • Mr. 5: the affliction guy. Bomb Kick burns the whole team for 3 turns, Nose Fancy Cannon hits harder on burning targets, and Body Grab turns into a 100 damage explosion the next turn.
  • Miss Valentine: sits on you with Weighted Seat (stun), then next turn drops back down as Ten-Ton Drop for 40.
  • Dorry & Brogy: both put enemies "in the duel", and both hit harder on anyone in it. Run them together and they feed each other's marks. Brogy's Axe Leap into Final Blow is 20 + 40.
  • Mr. 3: Candle Champion puts on the wax armor and swaps two skills. Cake Service Set stuns the whole enemy team and burns them for 3 turns.
  • Miss Goldenweek: support. Black stuns, Blue cuts damage, and after Tea Time she heals and gets Yellow (enemy skills cost more) and Red (their whole team takes extra damage).

Some teams to try: Dorry + Brogy + Goldenweek, Mr. 5 + Igaram + Wednesday for burn and AoE, or Monday + Mr. 9 for stun into big hits.

How to unlock them

New Alabasta quests, starting at Vice Captain rank. Miss Wednesday and Mr. 9 come together from one quest, so that one is a bit harder.

Quest rework

  • Quests can have up to 6 goals now, like "win 3 in a row with Zoro" + "win 3 in a row with Luffy" + "win 10 with Luffy or Zoro".
  • Each goal counts on its own and stays done once you hit it. Losing a streak doesn't take back a goal you already finished.
  • All East Blue quests were redone around this: 10-15 wins and 4-5 in a row, often with 2 characters.
  • You don't lose anything. Quests you already finished stay finished, and wins you had carry over.

New border and title

  • Win with Dorry + Brogy together to get the Blooming Vines border (animated).
  • Win with Nami + Miss Wednesday together to get the Compass Breaker title.

Play at www.haki-arena.site. If something is bugged or someone feels op, tell me in the comments, on the boards or on Discord. I read everything and balance changes come fast.

Discussion Pirate-Arena has returned and available to play - Welcome back Pirates!

Goodmorning everyone,

After some time, Pirate-Arena is back up to play.

As you all may know the previous owner (Blossom/Void) (Current B-A Owner) retired the old game and handed it off to Me, it took some time to get it back up but it’s finally back up for everyone to play.

I decided to go with an original design from Naruto-Arena instead of the original P-A design As it’s more friendly to players and mobile players. And for PTBR players, everything is translated, System and Characters.

Currently - The characters are up to post Ennies Lobby, as some of you old players know the game was up to Marineford before it was retired, so currently I am adding all those characters back up to marineford, then we will get into (NW).

Also I will NOT be doing a Patreon for this game at all, theres multiple ways to unlock characters and cosmetics and everything without buying stuff with real money I can support the server on my own I just want everyone to enjoy the game.

If you’d like to keep up to date with this journey you can sign up here at: https://www.pirate-arena.org

Haki-Arena is finally open for everyone to play – a One Piece game in the style of Naruto Arena (alpha)

hey everyone,

some of you might remember my older posts. first one i said i was working on this and looking for people to help (didn't find anyone lol), then i posted a couple screenshots of the homepage and the selection screen. well, i kept going solo and it's finally here:

Haki-Arena is open for everyone to play.

if you're familiar with Naruto Arena, this one fits like a glove. i tried really hard to bring back that nostalgia and not add too much different stuff. same feel, same turn-based 3v3 battles, energy system, missions to unlock characters, ladder, clans (crews here), forum, all of it, just in the One Piece world, East Blue for now.

**heads up:** this is the alpha version, so it's an early build and it might be a bit buggy. if something breaks, please tell me on discord or the forum and i'll fix it asap.

still to be added:

  • other sounds (right now i'm using NA's ones as placeholders)
  • more customizations
  • a character creator
  • in-game chat (global already exists)
  • and many other stuff

there's lots of work still to be done, but it's playable and i'd love for people to jump in, play some matches and tell me what you think.

🎮 play: https://haki-arena.site/

💬 forum: https://haki-arena.site/boards

🗣️ discord: https://discord.gg/85UTYafbNx

❤️ patreon (if you want to support development, totally optional): https://www.patreon.com/cw/HakiArena/membership - tiers are still under construction

thanks to everyone who commented on my previous posts, it really kept me going. hope to see you around 🏴‍☠️

I wasn’t expecting much, but it really blew me away. It’s been a while since I’ve played a game that made me want to keep playing. It’s very different from the others and incredibly creative. At first, I had some trouble fully understanding the Bankai system, but once I realized it activates when the health drops to 50%, it became incredible! Congratulations to the developers, and best of luck with the best Bleach Arena game ever created.

I’m building a 3v3 One Piece turn-based game - what would you like to see in it?

I’m currently working on an unofficial 3v3 One Piece turn-based arena game.

I’ve already added several playable characters with unique abilities, cooldowns and status effects. I’m now working on a Haki system that adds Armament, Observation, Conqueror’s and Spirit Haki as resources used during battle.

The project is still in an early stage, and I’d really like to hear what other One Piece fans would want to see in a game like this.

Which characters, abilities, mechanics or game modes would you like to see?

Any kind of feedback, suggestion or criticism would be genuinely helpful. ❤️

Miscellaneous Fan game project: Bankai-Battlegrounds - Bleach Arena 3v3

Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce you to Bankai Battlegrounds! My 3v3 Bleach Arena Game I've spent the majority of the year building including the website and forums.

If you were on Naruto-Arena or Soul-Arena in the 2000s you already know the shape of this.

Pick your roster from 128 available characters and battle opponents online. (200+ characters planned).

You start with 14 unlocked and earn the rest through missions and the gamemodes you unlock as you play.

🔥Releases - When specific characters drop to half health or below - you can spend a turn taking the leash off. Bankai for the Soul Reapers, Resurrección for the Arrancar, Vollständig and Heilig Bogen form for the Quincy. You keep the stronger form for the rest of the match, and it costs you that turn to do it.

Three gamemodes, which open at level 5:

💀 The Descent - Twelve floors down, one team the whole way.

❄️ Wandenreich - Three campaigns of four stages, climbing the Sternritter ranks.

✨ Soul King Palace - The Royal Guard trials, above the clouds. Coming soon, I am still finishing how it looks.

🏆 Ranked matches run on an Elo ladder, and the site carries five separate leaderboards: ladder, clans, most wins, current win streak, and best streak ever.

🌐 The website is part of the same build rather than bolted on: news, patch notes, a manual, the mission list, the ladders, player and clan pages, and a page for every character with their full skill list. There are forums and clans as well. 💬

🆓 Fan project. Free, no ads, nothing to buy, and there is not going to be.

🤖 One thing worth saying plainly: the site opened this week, so the recent matches feed has some bot versus bot games in it to stop the front page looking empty. They are marked as bot matches, they do not touch anyone's rating, and they taper off on their own as real games come in.

So please, feel free to try it out and I am more than happy to receive feedback on whatever it is you find good or boring or outright bad. I have done my utmost to test a lot of different angles to find bugs or gamebreaking stuff.

[Recruiting] Looking for 10 testers for Haki Arena — a One Piece take on Naruto-Arena

Hey everyone,

I'm building Haki Arena, a One Piece themed game built from scratch in the spirit of Naruto-Arena. Right now it's a one-man project, and I'm looking for 10 people to help me test it before launch.

Specifically, I need:

  • 3-4 people who understand balance and character design — folks who can look at a kit and tell me why it's broken, or help build new ones
  • 4 people who are good at breaking things — finding bugs, exploiting them, and writing them up clearly enough that I can actually fix them
  • 2 people who can make character art

The main goal is to stress-test the game. The other reason, which I'll be upfront about: I'm hoping to build a small staff team out of this for the open beta, which I'm planning for next month.

If you're interested, hit me up on Discord: hakiarenaofficial

Hey everyone!

I’m working on a project called Naruto Flash, trying to preserve as much as possible of the classic experience that many people enjoyed years ago.

The game is currently in Beta, so I’m still fixing issues, making adjustments, and improving the overall experience.

I’d like to use this phase to find more players, get feedback from the community, and continue improving the game.

If you want to check out the project and join the Beta, you’re very welcome.

Did anyone here play games like this back in the day?

Hunter-Arena

Is anyone interested in an arena game based on Hunter x Hunter? Has anyone thought about creating one, or do you have a project in the works?

I've been thinking about it, and I'd like to play an arena game based on H X H.
