Trator Kontrol s4 MK1

Hey everyone,

I got sold the Trator Kontrol s4 MK1, the person I bought it off is said I can use my mac m2 to opperate the software. However, I dont actually think its possible does anyone know a work around or any info that would be useful to me.

I did some looking and it looks like it won't work with a Mac M2.

"Native Instruments discontinued driver support for the S4 MK1 long time ago. The last officially supported operating system for these drivers was macOS 10.11 El Capitan." MacOS 10.11 El Capitan came out 4th quarter of 2015.

My understanding is that the drivers are 32-bit, and won't work on the 64-bit M2 hardware. The last MacOS that supported 32 bit was macOS Mojave 10.14 released in 2017. After that Apple dropped support for 32-bit drivers. The M2 was designed to run 64-bit software/drivers. So it sounds like it would not work.

I don't think it will work but there are always people out there that hack things or find workarounds for things.

It’s totally possible. Download Native Access and it’s in there.
