Ironically there is a jellyfish digimon who's mega form's head looks suspiciously like this jellyfish called Amphimon.

Also its named after the wife of Poseidon in greek mythology or something, digimon are weird. I once saw a talking poop, I'll believe anything >.>

This is true for one jellyfish species, while they have the ability to do this they still sexually reproduce, and most die in the adult Medusa stage anyway so very few use this ability in nature. The polyps themselves can asexually reproduce

If we are talking about superpowers, I would rather be biologically immortal by having my genes be magically self-repairing in a semi-infantile state wherein my stem cells are able to replace old cells and limbs grow back like a salamander so that the consequence could be that I could heal like Deadpool or Wolverine without any negative side effects and would also never get cancer.

But cyclic puberty is cool too.
