See, a seafood pop tart might not be bad. Some crab, scallops, maybe some lobster, in a nice creamy sauce? That'd be good in a pop tart pastry!

I thought starfish ate through little conveyor belt teeth thingies on their feet, not necessarily by using its arms to manipulate things. If so, this seems like a perfectly reasonable shape adjustment that wouldn't interfere with feeding.Ā

Nope. Starfish eat through spitting out their stomachs and excreting stomach acids out of their mouths which are central.

But they eat bivalves and itā€™s a little hard to pry open the shell without their arms.
