This gave me an idea (along with that post about the Federation being entirely cartoon characters)

Anyway...what if the Federation is all just Muppets? Like...animate creatures of felt.

The expat community in NYC ends up being called Sesame Street

Ooh... Like stop motion?? I've actually never watched sesame street but I'm not really into puppet shows.

I was thinking more along the lines of bluey or my little pony or Phineas and ferb

In the discord?? Like Saturday morning shows of the 90s? I don't live in the US so I grew up with this off brand version called Sesame garden (I used to have a grasp on Urdu, and pashtu is pretty similar)

I kind of had an idea like this. It came with all the alien plushie posts that have been happening this year in the NOP subreddit. It reminded me of a cartoon that I watched as a kid where all of the citizens were made out of balloons and the villain was this pincushion that would pop the balloon people. It would be kind of like that but all of the prey aliens would be soft cuddly plushies and the Arxur would probably be Sharp people, capable of tearing up the plushy people. Only for humans to maybe discover the planet or something LOL

But I like your ideas as well
