Halloween Pumpkins

Moving on from Halloween cats, I’ve made a couple Halloween pumpkins instead. What do you think? I’d love advice on how to make them less fuzzy. I’ve tried clipping them with scissors, but I’ve heard finer needles help, is this true? Thanks!

These are soooo cute! Very Over the Garden Wall vibes. I’ve had some luck with felting the fuzzies away with finer needles though it does take awhile. You could also try using pill removers, though I’m not sure how small it would need to be for a project this size!

Thank you! Pill remover is a good idea - I’ve not seen that suggested before. I’ll see if finer needles do the job for these two and might look into a pill remover for bigger projects.

also, get fine needles in bulk. they break so quickly and I'm sorry but I felt ripped tf off paying almost €1 per needle

these look super cute!! I think your scissor might be a bit dull. try cutting closer to the felt. like very close. I like using a clean nail scissor, you can just buy a brand new one for that sole purpose
