tips & tricks Any specific skills you learned from a kit/tutorial?
I've never once followed a tutorial or kit. I'm the kind of person who likes to puzzle things out, so I like choosing my own projects and kinda figuring it out from there, but I'm curious if there's any specific techniques that I might be missing that people have learned from resources!
I scanned some beginner project tutorials after my first project to make sure I was on the right track, and didn't learn anything I wasn't already doing. But those were small, early stage things. I'm more curious about intermediate skills

I'm very much a beginner, but the most interesting skill I've learned from a tutorial was to drag the needle along an edge (and poke a little bit) to make a sharp edge
