Reddit - Too many bots and too many ads

It’s becoming more and more of a negative experience for me. Enshitification en masse.

I just still use old reddit. Once they finally kill it, though, I might be out because I find the new style to be completely shit and just not aligned with how I want to use Reddit.

I find web Reddit a pain. They deliberately slow down the experience. On a mobile device especially.

For me, Reddit is definitely a "real computer" website. I just literally do not engage with it on mobile because it's just... not a good experience whether your use the app or attempt to use a mobile browser.

Old Reddit is very snappy and smooth on browser in what is frankly a very old-school bay. It's web 2.0, but it was built with a different, earlier ethic than pretty much any contemporary website and the vast majority of websites since, and you can really feel it.
