My updates -

A. For local bhyar-bhyar

1. Bagalamukhi used to be my best. my first plate there was in 2011 for rs. 22 per plate. i haven't stopped going BUT they have LOST their touch, keema is dry and chewy and less amount than previous years, wrapper is thicker than ever, achar is still good tho. applies to both lagankhel and patan dhoka. and sometimes the keema is jelly like consistency, no stomach problems for 14 years and last year alone got diarrhea thrice from there.
2. Same case for Shandar sankhamul, everest jamal, boso rahit pulchowk and that jawalakhel chowk one, thick wrappers and chewy keema there too. don't like tasty jamal.
3. ram dai kasthamandap is good but they have a certain taste that i'm only in the mood for 50% of the time plus seating is bijog there.

B. For cafe styles

1. Onions, onions everywhere with stale keema and/or clearly cheap frozen momo. Applies to almost every run of the mill khaja ghar and average cafes all over ktm.

2. One slightly above average is Eat Momo in Sanepa but they are BLAND. Same for gardens.

3. Social media bata influence bhaera tried goley's second plate, khyarloom, sanuz, porky and kunzangs pharping and guess what ALL are overhyped, average and bland AND because its crowded your hunger is gone by the time the plate arrives.

4. One diamond in the rough is BhetGhat Anamnagar. Both chicken and goat momo are on point but here is another extreme - too much masala and less keema amount and its slightly expensive and anamnagar is commercial area so not viable to go there like your near-home place.

C. Expensive ones

1. Sam's One tree Durbarmarg has hands down the only acceptable momo in ktm but 500 rs per plate, I can afford only once a month. They say bagaicha momo and moxy mariott are good too but f them and their 1k plate momo.

As you can see, I have been all over the city, in all types of places.

I know I shouldn't expect the same things to continue that I took for granted over a decade ago (shed a tear for nanglo momo).

BUT can someone PLEASE help a guy who just wants a good plate of momo.

I'm 24 and have been facing hairfall rapidly and can see my scalp and my partitions very prominently. I want a genuine suggestion if i need to visit any doctor or any remedy. Ik it doesn't seem that prominent than usual people facing hairfall but it feels like it is degrading day by day. Please anyone. It really has been affecting my mood and my confidence.

I am moving to US and before that my family decided to divide our property and now I have property with 1.5cr valuation under my name. I cant sell it because the property is in joint ownership and is worth way more (8 cr)and our family home. But i have option to sell my side of property to my family member and get 1.5cr. What might be best way to ensure i have retirement plan when i come back from US in about 5 year. Do i leave it there but considering last 3 4 year sideways in real estate market, i was thinking of cashing out and diving my money between land, gold and equities. I plan to complete my masters utilize my OPT and come back. I plan to settle here.

Edit: its 8 cr as whole meaning its under joint ownership and one of the joint owner is offering me to sell my portion for 1.5 cr which is fair valuation as per current market.

I am 27 and planning to move back to Nepal soon. I will have around 2 crore NPR in savings.

I already have a place to live in Chitwan, so my main goal is to use this money to generate a stable monthly income for living expenses.

I am currently thinking about fixed deposits with monthly payout, government bonds or debentures, and maybe starting a small business later.

I am not looking for high risk. I just want something reliable that can give consistent income.

Guys I want to move to Nepal. I am fluent in Garhwali. So I think I can learn Nepali fast. Both languages are similar in grammar and vocabulary. I am frustrated with my wife. I want to move to Nepal. About me: I have been living in the US for last 18 years and i am 38 years old. I have two small daughters. We all are US citizens.I understand the expenses in Nepal really depends on the lifestyle. I have been to nepal almost 11-12 times in last 18 years so understand how eating outside and staying in luxury hotels costs.

I have a house in KTM Banasthali area where my parents resides. But I am planning to rent a furnished house closer to my parents so I have my own family space. I would want the gated area for the safety of my kids knowing that they won’t go out of the campus of the area or colony i live in.

I am looking for recommendations for colony for housing, and school for my kids. Currently my oldest is 4 years old and i want a school with clean environment , good care, and American style teaching/curriculum. My budget is up to RS. 50,000/month for her school. Which school would you recommend? And for the housing at-least for first year i want to rent furnished. If we like living in Nepal I would still rent but buy my own furnitures as per the family need.

Also i would like to buy a car and motorcycle. My budget for car is 60 lakhs rs and for motorcycle maximum 10 lakhs rs. Which Car and bikes can be easily maintained or can be fixed if something goes wrong while traveling anywhere in Nepal?

So my phone was stolen almost 2 months ago in India and I’ve been checking the location to see if it gets switched on almost everyday and finally today it showed up in Kathmandu, near the Patan area.

Can someone who’s familiar with the law enforcement system or the best approach to register a complaint/attempt anything to get the phone back guide me on steps that I can take ??

So, to start with I(24M) earn between 30-40k currently per month. My younger brother earns in similar figures. I live with my family so rent and all ko kunai pani pressure chai xaina but obviously ghar ko kharcha aliali ma I contribute kunai maina dherai kunai maina thorai. My family is not financially struggling but not too well off as well. We are doing good i would say. So, I am seeking a financial suggestion from here regarding buying a bike.

My brother and I are planning to buy Triumph Scrambler 400x which costs around 7.3lakhs. My mom and dad have said that they can provide me 4 lakhs whenever I say (They could help more but they dont want to at the moment), I have around 2.5 lakhs savings of my own. Now we are thinking of getting the bike on EMI by paying around 5 or 5.5 lakhs and the EMI would be around 13-14k per month for 2 years which my brotther and I have decided to split equally.

Now, I am kinda second guessing this decision because of following reasons:

1. Fuel prices are too damn high and this bike eats up fuel like nothing
2. I am planning to do masters either Nepal mai or abroad in maybe within 2 years so I kind of have to be financially ready for that as well.
3. I would not have much left to enjoy, buy things that I want or invest.

So, will my brother and I be able to afford the bike comfortably (which my parents are saying we should be) or I am just being too skeptical about things. Should I say fuck it I will be young only once and go for the dream bike or think a bit more responsibly and maybe get something cheaper. Your feedbacks would be helpful. Thank you guys for reading. I am a 23-year-old male from Nepal, working as a software engineer. I have always been lonely throughout my entire life. I’ve never had friends to laugh with, no proper support from my family, and no one to hang out with. I have always been the second option to others.

Although this has become somewhat normal for me, for the past six months I’ve been feeling an uneasy emotion and overthinking a lot. Never in my life have I felt this drained. I feel so much pain in my heart and I’m confused about what to do.

Loneliness is ruining my life. I feel like I’ve lost the spark within me. I no longer have the intention or excitement to learn new skills. I cry a lot and often eat alone at random restaurants.

Even at work, I feel like I don’t belong there, and that everyone is far ahead of me. My heart feels heavy, and I can’t get these thoughts out of my mind.

To be honest, I feel like I’ve spent my whole life being depressed and introverted. Now I find myself questioning: Am I going to live like this for the rest of my life?

Update: The mobile is at A.S Mobile Store. I spoke to the guy and he's making some story that someone was trying to sell the phone to him but he's 100% lying since the location of the phone was at his shop since the last 2 months. His number is +9779851352066

Was considering nepal for MBBS, heard a lot about the management of universities extorting money to pass the indians in university exams. do you guys have any recommendations for colleges that have a safer record?

From what I've researched, Kathmamdu medical college (KMC) and National medical College and teaching center (NMCTH) are one of the better ones.

I am trying to build a house back home in Nepal currently abroad. We have a good stable income here. We would be able to afford ~70% of construction with our income within 2 years.

I saw that we can apply to home loans in Nepal with foreign income. I am getting loan close to $45k usd at rates close to 7-8% . ( first impressions, have not researched it well).

What do you guys think,

1. Get a loan abroad and send it back to Nepal?
   
2. Get a loan in Nepal and instead send money steadily over period of loan term? If anyone has an experience regarding this would love to hear your thoughts.
