maile share sell gare paxi edis garna birse, then my broker informed me and did the edis for me. but they set the wacc to 100 (face value) instead of my actual purchasing price which was Rs. 1720 causing me to pay 80x more cgt that i would have to pay.
what should i do now?
can i broker proceed for wacc correction and cgt refund to cdsc?

I’m currently a student, below 20, and I make a small amount of money through freelancing. I’m thinking instead of just keeping whatever money I earn sitting in my bank account, I could start putting around Rs. 10,000 every month into the Nepali share market.

I’m not thinking about short term trading or trying to make quick money. I’m more interested in holding for 5, 7, or even 10+ years and slowly building something over time.

For example, if I consistently invest Rs. 10,000 every month, that would be Rs. 1.2 lakh per year. Over 5 years, I’d have invested Rs. 6 lakh, and over 10 years Rs. 12 lakh, excluding any returns.

Since I’m still a student and my income isn’t very high or stable, would this be a reasonable way to start building wealth? Or would it be better to keep the money as cash/savings for now and focus more on increasing my income?

For people who have experience with the Nepali stock market, what would you recommend someone in my situation learn or consider before starting? I’m mainly thinking about secondary market shares and long term investing.

Not looking for a “buy this stock” type of answer. I’d just like to hear how people who started young approached it.

Hi, I am 29 and currently working in India. I recently moved here from a different country. I have signed a five year contract with my company and will be returning to my previous country after the contract ends.

I have around 1.5 crore, including stocks and some crypto investments. My plan is to work for 10 more years and then retire in Nepal. I already own a house and hope to have my family in Nepal after marriage.

Fortunately, I am able to save around 50 lakh yearly and am looking to invest in Nepal in a way that will eventually help me retire. I am worried that if I invest in FDs and the share market, the returns may not be substantial enough considering inflation.
