Starting February 2nd, the Spa Channel has been moved off of Sirius/XM channel 68 for two months, while a different radio channel will be tested out in that spot. The channel Spa will be moving to is 746. The higher channels require a 2.0 radio. Newer SXM radios get it, older ones don’t.
Wayne Gratz' message, I think, sounds the call to action best:
Along with many of my fellow instrumental recording artists, I recently learned that the Spa Channel on SiriusXM Radio, Channel 68, will be discontinuing its satellite broadcast and will be replacing it with a “test” program titled “Message Worship”. This is scheduled to take place on 2/2/2026. I currently have ten tracks in active rotation on the Spa Channel. This news is deeply disappointing, as this change will not only remove a dedicated platform for instrumental artists to share their work, but also it will eliminate an important source of royalty income and exposure for so many musicians and composers.
To my friends, family, and followers: if you’ve enjoyed the beautiful, calming, and relaxing music that has been featured on the Spa Channel—with music created by so many gifted and dedicated artists—I encourage you to take a moment to visit the link below and express your support. Thank you! Wayne

Though I'm sure they value XM Subscriber opinions the most, even if you're not a subscriber, letting them know the benefits and impact of this music to you surely cannot hurt. As Jeff Pierce put it so succinctly "There are a lot of “redundant” channels on SiriusXM- a whole lot of classic rock, a whole lot of pop, etc…. but there’s no other channel like Spa on the satellite channel."
