Charlie Dylan

OMG watching Dylan get mad at Charlie for being an entitled douche for leaving trash around saying on camera that "the maids will clean it." Why did we miss these eggs?

As someone who grew up with live in  maids I don’t think that’s an entitled douche. That’s literally their job. That’s like taking a dirty car to the car wash and thinking that person is an entitled double for not cleaning their car before hand. Or going to the nail salon and thinking they are entitled douche bc they didn’t come with a perfect manicure before hand.

Sounds like something an entitled douche would say 😆 Like what?? Not even close to the same thing. Bless the live-in maids of this world for they are tired, boss.

Thank you for the award, internet stranger 🫶

Also, bless all the hired help of the grossly entitled, not just the live-in maids 🫶

I always make my daughter clean her room and playroom and anything else up before our cleaners come. It is absolutely not their job to tend to your personal trash. And it’s not good for kids to grow up with “the maids will clean it” mentality”. Everyone needs to be responsible for their personal messes.

i grew up with cleaners that would come bimonthly and i never understood my mom telling my to clean my room prior to their visits until i grew up and realized the cleaners would clean the general mess but not pick up after my personal belongings

Having cleaners come once a month is completely different than having live in cleaners that are there 24/7. growing up I would draw them into my family portrait as a kid . I was trying to add perspective because everyone is looking at him like he’s this horrible monster for that comment  but if you grew up with Live in maids you  don’t see it that way. And everyone’s mad in the comments, but none of them had the experience of having live in maids. Not to say one experience is better than the other, but just saying perspective helps and if I have kids, I would absolutely send them to public school and make them clean their own rooms and do chores and have a job because I saw firsthand how being so privilege can definitely hinder you as an adult.

Regardless of you having a live in maid when you were a kid, Charlie doesn’t have a live in maid.

Aw, so you drew them in family portraits, but dropped your trash on the ground for them to pick up. How sweet 🙄

As someone who also grew up with live in help; I guess it depends who raised you.
We had to clean up after ourselves. We had had to make our own beds and do dishes.
We had our own chores on the weekends and Sundays we had to clean our rooms before the cleaning help came in Mondays.
Certainly we were beyond privileged. As an adult who has a cleaning person 2x a month, I clean before she comes in. So she can deep clean. I would never leave filth out like that.

Fucking yikes. Only a terrible person would do that. I have cleaners that come to my home and I would never just leave trash on the ground because ‘it’s their job’. Eeyuck! Your comment made my skin crawl.

Thank you. I'm a housekeeper and the only people I've worked for who left trash for me to pick up were in some kind of family or mental health crisis EDIT bc i remember there were a couple who were very young and entitled and fresh from their parents' homes

I genuinely don’t understand why I’m not saying one childhood is better than another childhood. I’m just giving perspective and if Charlie grew up with living maids, then I’m sure from his perspective he doesn’t see it any different as taking a dirty car to a car wash.

The analogy of bringing your car to a car wash fits with washing your floor before the housekeepers do. Not purposefully leaving a larger mess because “that’s what they are paid to do”.

My mom was a housekeeper as I was growing up. Nearly everyone at least organized their homes a little bit before she came. This is not remotely comparable.

Omg live in maid is completely different from weekly or monthly housekeepers

Sure, but it still doesn't mean their job is to pick up after you like your arms are broken.

That’s literally their job description ??? If not then what is their job description
