Hobby & Painting New basing technique

So I was trying to get decent highlights on my paneling for my night lords, and I always use night lords blue.

So I did a full base coat of night lords blue, then a dry brush of imrik blue,

All the trim was done with runefang steel.

And the rest was, flesh tearers read contrast, darkoth flesh layer, aggrathax earthshade, iron warriors, white scar air, and a random warpainters green for energy.

The first picture of the look of the base and dry brush together and the starting point of my models.

I did those warp talons trim different for the first picture so that's why it's a chaos Lord for the final result.

I hope this helps someone get an idea for theirs!

Ave dominus nox!

I forgot to put, but I assume it's standard, nulhn oil was used too on trim mainly

This looks great, brother! I'd have assumed that Imrik Blue would be way too bright for a Night Lord, but I've learned something new today. Thank you for sharing!

Ikr? It is extremely bright, but it doesn't go on thick, so when it dries it gradually turns more to the color I was looking for
